Lin says "Good answer. Anything else? If not, I am going to go summon more music."

"Ah, yes actually."

I quickly create a bookstore and show Lin what manga books look like. I am hoping that she can find some that have come out since I was summoned. It has been so long since I got to read new manga, just the thought has me excited.

Even if she only finds ones that I have read before, it would still make me happy. There are plenty of manga that I enjoyed but can't remember well enough to recreate. Reading those will be more relaxing than anything I can think of, I can't wait.

Lin says "Alright. I will see what I can find."

"How is the spell? Does it take a lot of mana?"

Lin says "It's not too bad. The hardest part is knowing where to look."

"Oh, I can help with that too."

With a thought I create an entire city from memory and start showing Lin how to navigate. At this point, I will do anything I can to increase the chance of getting new manga. While I am at it, I show her where to find DVDs so that she can get more movies.

After I have explained everything I can think of, Lin leaves and I end the soulscape. After Lin leaves I try to go back to work, but I can't get my mind to settle down. All I can think of is the possibility of getting new manga, so I give up on my work.

However, when I try to go into Lin's tower to see how she is doing I find the door locked. It is only then that I remember that Lin promised the goddesses that she wouldn't let me learn the spell. Lin is smart enough to know that I could learn the spell by watching, so she locked me out.

It is a smart move on her part, I would have definitely tried to figure out the spell. Even if I didn't mean to, my curiosity would have ended up making me do it. The problem now is that I have to sit and wait for her to finish, which will be torture.

In an attempt to distract myself, I head to the main room and start playing with the kids. The kids don't seem to mind that I am distracted, they just us the advantage to win. I hear it as soon as the lock on Lin's tower opens and I rush to meet her.

She laughs as soon as she sees me, but steps out of the way to let me into the tower. When I step into the tower I am amazed at the massive piles of stuff waiting there. There are two massive piles, one of CDs and one of DVDs, and there is also a mountain of manga.

Besides the piles, there are boxes as well, a stereo system, a DVD player, and a decent sized TV. However, I ignore all of that and rush to start sorting through the manga. I am delighted to find that there are manga that I haven't read before, but that's not all.

There are several of my favorite series and some of them even have new books. After seeing that, I jump up, run over to Lin, and kiss her repeatedly. Then I gather up all the manga and carry it down to my workshop.

However, I don't start reading right away, instead I check the books for mana capacity. Luckily, the paper used is decent enough to allow it to hold some mana. Enough for me to put a few enchantments on them, which is what I was hoping for.

The two enchantments that I add are self-repair and protection from fire. They just barely fit, but that makes me happy because now I can read in the bath. As soon as I am done enchanting them, I pick a series and take them with me into the bath.

I drop shapeshift before I get into the bath and then use mana to float the first book to where I can read it. I also use my mana to turn the pages, I don't want the book to get too close to the lava. I could only fit protection from fire, so the books will still burn if I am not careful.

Being able to read manga while soaking in the heat of the bath feels like heaven. The only thing that I can compare it to is being with Lin, nothing else comes close. The best part is that now I don't have to feel guilty because I am wasting time.

I can actually spend the time relaxing without worrying, just like Lin wanted me to. Before I know it, several hours have passed and I only notice when I get hungry. So, I finish reading the current book and then climb out of the bath.

I head upstairs, planning to eat, but Lin has a task for me before I am allowed to eat. She has waited long enough, she wants me to enchant the CD and DVD players. Since she let me read my manga without interruption, I don't argue and enchant them for her.

The DVD player and TV get set up in the main room so the kids can watch things. Lin wants the stereo put in her tower and I don't argue with her, I just do as she says. When I return to the main room to sit down and eat, I find the kids sitting and watching cartoons.

They are completely enthralled and for once they don't even notice my presence. I don't mind, in fact I find myself watching the cartoons as I eat, they bring back memories. I have no idea where Lin managed to find cartoons that I watched as a kid.

However, cartoons can't compare to manga, so I head downstairs as soon as I am done reading. My workshop isn't exactly a comfortable place to read, So I take the manga up to the bedroom. Then I lay down on the bed, get comfortable, and start reading the next book in the series.

The next thing I know, I have finished the last book, although that isn't the end of the series. Luckily, it isn't too bad of a cliffhanger and it felt really satisfying to read more of the series. Where I left off in my old life was a horrible stopping point, enough to make me pull my hair.

I am tempted to start another series, but it would probably be a bad idea. It is late, I still haven't eaten dinner, and Lin should be wanting to go to bed sometime soon. Come to think of it, she hasn't left her tower since I set up the stereo for her, so I go looking for her.

I find her curled up in her favorite chair with a book in hand and music playing in the background. Surprisingly, she notices me as I walk over and puts her book down. When she lifts her head, I oblige by leaning down and giving her a long kiss.

"Did you eat dinner yet?"

Lin says "Nope. I didn't even notice how late it was."

"Want to join me then? I did the same thing."

Lin says "Of course!"

We head down to the main room, but we find the kids are already sound asleep. So, we head back up to the bedroom and have dinner together. Then we have dessert before falling asleep in each others arms.
