Lin says "Wouldn't that mess with having the kids side be two stories tall? Or are you going to keep our room on the second floor?"
"Oh, good point. I certainly don't want to make the kids' play area smaller. If anything I would want to expand it. Actually, I should probably expand it instead."
Lin says "What are you thinking?"
"Well, what if I just make all three levels the size of two stories each?"
Lin says "Wouldn't that make it taller than my tower? Why not just make the first floor the height of two floors?"
"I was planning to make your tower taller, but I suppose I could do that instead."
Lin says "No, you can still make my tower taller!"
"Haha, alright. Relax, I was just teasing you. I know you are going to need more library space."
Lin says "You!"
As I am laughing at Lin, I start moving stone around inside the castle to add a floor. It is a good thing that I can manipulate the stone directly or I would have to tear the entire castle down. I still have to be careful about keeping enough support for the weight while I am moving things around.
Since I am expanding the castle I decide to add a proper area to eat and a kitchen. That way, if anyone is inside the castle and doesn't have the pouch they can still make food. It shouldn't happen too often, but it is still a possibility, at least until I make more food pouches.
Maybe I should figure out how to make a pouch that can do storage and make food. That way everyone can have one and won't need to depend on me for food. I will have to keep that in mind for when I am done with my current projects.
Once the castle is expanded and I have added the additional space, I turn my attention to Lin's tower. Not only do I make it bigger around and add a floor, but I also make all the floors bigger. After that, there is still some stone left over, so I make the outer walls a bit taller and thicker.
It doesn't really do much since the defenses are mainly magical not physical. Although, from the outside it does make the castle look more impressive. Unfortunately, the changes are very obvious as they are happening and plenty of people are watching.
Reports and rumors of me upgrading the castle are bound to spread quickly. However, there is no way I can stop that from happening so I don't worry about it. I just keep working on the castle and finish all the modifications that I had planned out.

Lin says "What are those?"
"Basically, they are flower beds. I will fill them with soil and then plant some trees and herbs in them. Once the enchantments are done we will need the plants to keep the air inside fresh."
Lin says "Wait, just who are you planning to have take care of these plants? Are you planning to hire people and have them live in the castle?"
"No. Actually, I was thinking I could finally get around to reading those golem books and see if I could make a golem to do it."
Lin says "Oh, that could work, but I've never heard of anyone making golems for anything but fighting. They are too expensive for other tasks."
"I guess that makes sense, but it won't be anywhere near as expensive for me to make them."
Lin says "True. So, are you ready to do the enchantments?"
"Yeah, that was all the changes I had planned."
I start working on the pocket world enchantment while Lin watches me. Once my mana runs out, she starts feeding her mana to me and I put it into the enchantment. The enchantment is the most complicated that I have ever done and it takes me an hour just to create it.
By the time the enchantment is done, both Lin and I are completely out of mana. Even combined, we almost didn't have enough mana to make the enchantment big enough to cover the castle. In truth, I could have made the enchantment into multiple parts, but that would have been even harder.
Lin says "Whew! I'm exhausted. Is it done?"
"Yes. The enchantment is complete, but I will need to make some tweaks once I recover a bit."
Lin says "Will you need my help for that?"
"Nope, thank you. I can do the rest. You can go to the library if you want."
Lin says "After lunch, and maybe a nap."
"Agreed. Let's go eat."
Luckily, no one seems to be planning anything against the elves, because I couldn't do much right now. There are still people following the groups around, but nowhere near as many as before. Still, as soon as I recover a bit of mana I go back to keeping an eye on them.
In the end, Lin doesn't take a nap and heads to the library after we eat lunch. The first groups of elves make it back to the dock and switch out with the new groups without issue. I continue to keep watch over them as I go back to working on the enchantments.
As I was enchanting the pocket world spell onto the castle I noticed a few problems. The spell itself is fine, the problems occurred when I converted the spell into an enchantment. However, these small problems are far easier to fix than the errors in the spell were.
Once I fix them, I go on to add the rest of the enchantments to complete the castle. This includes the barrier to create an air pocket and the fake sun so that plants can grow. I also add a small spell to gently move the air around so that it won't get stale.
When I add plants to the castle I will also have to figure out how to add water for them. For now, this should be enough for the castle to be used while it is inside the pouch. It would take quite a while for the air inside to go stale or run out with just a few people inside.
Now all that is left is to add a way for people to enter and exit the castle while it is in the pouch. Entering is easy, that's just a modified gate spell, it is exiting that is the problem. Mainly because I have to make sure that wherever the exit opens is clear of obstacles.
This will require a smarter version of the gate spell, one that will only open in a clear space. I also need to add some kind of security check, I can't just assume that I am the only one who knows the gate spell. Or even if I am currently, there is no guarantee that it will stay that way forever.
So, the castle needs a way to recognize friends and allow only them to gate in. Part of what I need is already on the castle gates, I just need to improve it some. Since it is already part of the castle, adding some extra features is pretty easy.
