Krenocia says "Well, that actually went better than I was expecting it to."

"Yeah, I was surprised too. The only thing that worries me is Mythica. Could she have found out about the two of you from being near me?"

Seronia says "No, she couldn't. No matter how strong she is, she is still only an angel. She may be close to taking the next step, but even then she wouldn't be able to. Only a true deity could. So as long as you don't go meeting any of those, we should be safe."

"What about an avatar? I have come face to face with a couple."

Krenocia says "No. We limit ourselves a lot in order to create an avatar. Even a prime avatar wouldn't be able to tell. The only one you have encountered that would have known instantly is the fire god and he probably doesn't care. Or even know who we are for that matter."

"That's a relief. So, do you think Artlysa will really deal with Holos?"

Krenocia says "Probably. Not that it really matters. With his church destroyed, or at least crippled, he won't be a threat to us. With him labeled as a betrayer, even if he tries to tell others about us, it is likely that they won't believe him."

Seronia says "As much as I hate to admit it, you have handled this situation well, Ash."

"Thank you. By the way, do you know how Mythica was able to just appear without the white light warning of her arrival?"

Seronia says "It is an ability of top ranked archangels, indicated by the fourth pair of wings. They can appear anywhere that there is a decent number of believers."

"Okay, so she can't just appear in my territory without warning, that's a relief!"

Krenocia says "No, not unless she is summoned. Or a large number of believers sneak in."

"If she did come to the peninsula, would she be able to sense the two of you?"

Seronia says "Possibly. It would depend on how sensitive she is and if she was trying to. However, one look at one of our churches and she would know instantly."

"Alright, no summoning her. Got it."

Krenocia says "Summoning her to the empire wouldn't be too much of a risk. Just don't summon her in any of our cities."

Seronia says "If a bad situation that you can't handle arises, summon her."

"I doubt that will happen anytime soon. Although, being able to summon her when I run into the demon lords could be useful. How powerful is she? I couldn't tell just from looking at her."

Seronia says "She is probably about twice as strong as the six-winged angels that you have fought."

Krenocia says "She should be able to overpower a single demon lord, but dealing with more than one probably wouldn't be possible."

"Alright, good to know. Even if she can just deal with one while I fight the other four, that would improve the odds quite a bit."

Seronia says "Actually, that gives me an idea. How would you like to have an angel of your own?"

"What? How could that be possible? Only gods can have angels and I won't become a god."

Seronia says "No, there might be another way. Normally, when a Sacred Crusader hits level twenty the reward is to gain an angelic bloodline. That is obviously useless to you, so I was thinking of changing it. Instead, I can give you the ability to have a single angel as a minion. Of course, it would require you to get an angel's core and permanently sacrifice some of your divine power. What do you think?"

"That sounds like it could work. You are right, gaining an angelic bloodline doesn't appeal to me, if it would even work. Getting an angel core shouldn't be too hard."

Seronia says "Alright, I will work on making the changes. How soon do you think you will level up?"

"Considering I need around fifteen million exp, not anytime soon."

Seronia says "Then you should focus on leveling up. Oh, and finding an angel core to use."

Krenocia says "Keep in mind that the angel summoned will be a rank lower than the core used."

"Meaning?"

Krenocia says "If you use the core of a four-winged angel, it will start with two wings. If you use a two wing's core, it will start with no wings."

"It's possible for an angel not to have wings?"

Seronia says "Yes. That is how most of them are born. You won't see them though, no one would summon an angel that didn't have its wings yet."

"Ah, okay. Does the gender of the angel stay the same?"

Krenocia says "No. Angels are a little weird on gender. When a core is used to create an angel, it has a chance of three outcomes. Male, female, and both."

"Weird, but alright. So, I just need to find the most powerful core that I can."

Seronia says "Correct, but don't do anything crazy, like going after Mythica!"

"I wasn't even thinking about it! She is kinda scary! I will go after a six-wing at most."

Seronia says "Okay, good."

"The southern pantheon is basically an ally, I wouldn't target them. Now, if I run into an eight-wing from another pantheon on the continent, then maybe."

Seronia says "Ash!!"

Krenocia laughs and says "He is just teasing you! Or at least, he better be!"

"What? Is an eight-winged angel stronger than an avatar?"

Krenocia says "They are in some cases."

"I've gotten stronger since the last time I fought an avatar. I am willing to bet that I could beat an eight-wing."

Seronia says "Maybe you could, but could you kill it before it called the god it serves?"

"No, probably not. But the god wouldn't be able to see me, remember the cloak."

Krenocia says "Just because a god doesn't see you doesn't mean it won't send an avatar down. Keep in mind that any eight-winged angel will be serving the head of a pantheon and they tend to be the strongest god in the pantheon."

"Oh. That's a good point. I didn't think of that."

Seronia says "You didn't think at all!"

"Sure I did, I thought that getting myself a six-winged angel would be far more useful. However, you are right, I don't want to go pissing off the head of a pantheon. At least, not yet."

Krenocia says "Not yet? Ash, do you think you are going to become strong enough to fight a god?!"

"Not a god, no. An avatar, yes. I can already beat the avatars of low ranked gods, so I should be able to beat the avatars of higher ranked gods at some point. At least, I hope so."

Seronia says "You are absolutely insane!"

Krenocia says "Wait, sis, he does have a point. Even we have no idea what he is going to turn into next, so we can't assume that we know how powerful he can become. Who knows, the way he is going he could even end up turning into a dragon!"
