Without my sword I am now going to have to fight against the whip and spear while unarmed. This puts me at even more of a disadvantage than I was before. The whip keeps hitting me as I move around looking for a gap that I can use to close the distance.
At this point I already have over a dozen wounds, luckily the damage isn't too bad and I can trust my regen to handle it. Then I realize I am an idiot and start using wind slash against the demon. Every time the whip hits me I respond with wind slash, and the demon's chest is soon covered in large cuts.
The blood pooling around its feet makes it look like it is standing in a pool of fire. Unfortunately, while wind slash is doing a decent amount of damage I am sure the demon's health will outlast my sacred power. So when the whip hits me again, as I respond with wind slash I aim for the wrist of the arm holding the spear.
This knocks the spear off course and creates a gap, using that gap I rush forward and get close to the demon. Using Target Weakness I attack with my claws to do as much damage as possible. Both the whip and the spear are useless when I am this close so instead the demon tries to kick me.
As I dodge the kick I focus my attacks on the demon's other leg, trying to bring the demon down. However, while my attacks do manage to make the demon lose his balance he just flaps his wings to recover. As he is focused on recovering his balance I am able to hit him another dozen times.
Despite bleeding from hundreds of scratches and cuts the demon seems just fine. My hope of him bleeding out would appear to be completely in vain. What's worse is I have taken quite a bit of damage to my feet from stepping in his burning blood.
Now every step is painful and it has slowed me down quite a bit, but I am still faster than the demon. As I dance around dodging the demon's kicks and hitting him with my claws I am trying to think of how to win this fight. Trying to win through endurance probably won't work, the demon seems much tougher than I am.
However, without a weapon it is extremely hard to inflict a major wound. The fact that I can't hit his upper body easily is a major factor, if I could knock him down I could do more damage. Yet every time I try to take out a leg and make him fall he is able to recover thanks to his wings.
So I decide to try and take out his wings again, moving behind him is easy enough. This time when I jump up on his back I don't attack with my claws, instead I grab his wings. Wrapping my arms around his wings I plant my feet and then use all my strength to straighten my body.

The cracking and tearing sounds are completely drowned out as the demon screeches in agony. While the sound hurts my ears it also puts a big smile on my face. With a last ripping sound I go flying back, but I take the demon's wings with me.
The demon staggers for the first time, and thanks to the blood he now looks like he is wearing a cape of fire. Of course it wasn't without a cost, I am also covered in blood and have burns all over my body. The wings seem useful so as I stand up I stuff them in my backpack.
Before the demon can recover and start attacking again I charge at him. His back is to me so when I reach him I throw my entire body at the back of his legs. The ground shakes as the demon crashes down and I jump back to my feet and start attacking like mad.
The demon finally drops his weapons in order to swat me away so that it can climb back to its feet. As he is getting up I rush back in, but instead of attacking the demon I run and pick up his spear. The spear is taller than I am so I have to use both hands to control it, but it makes up for the demon's greater reach.
Using the spear I attack the demon and do my best to keep it from reaching the whip. I am careful to only use short jabs and not overextend so the demon can't grab the spear. While this allows me to keep the demon away from his whip it also means I am only inflicting small wounds.
After a minute of this the demon finally loses his temper and charges at me. Stabbing the spear into its stomach I brace the butt against the ground and let the demon impale itself. Then before he can retreat I run up the spear and slash my claws across its throat.

The demon is staggering as he pulls himself off the spear and backs away. As he does I quickly recover the spear and chase after him stabbing him repeatedly. He is so covered in his own blood he looks more like a fire elemental than a demon.
Despite the hundreds of small wounds and a couple of major ones the demon still doesn't go down. The amount of damage I have done to him is enough to kill at least ten ettins. None of the wounds have closed, meaning he isn't regenerating, he is just that tough.
Even now he is able to recover his balance and stand up straight, what is it going to take to kill him? If it wasn't for my advantage in speed I would already be dead a couple of times over. I am pretty sure he isn't a demon lord, meaning I have seriously underestimated the demons.
The demon, having recovered again, tries to force its way past me and get to the whip. Again I block its advance and hit it with the spear several times, but it ignores the wounds and keeps pushing me back. Eventually it reaches the whip but as it bends over to grab it I throw myself forward and stab the spear into its neck.
