Sarah says "I mean what are you going to do about Myria?"
"Nothing. Give her some time to herself."
Sarah says "Are you sure? She seemed pretty upset."
"Yeah, she has a lot of pent up feelings about it, but I'm no therapist. So, unless you know someone who was a therapist before there isn't much we can do."
Sarah says "You could go talk to her."
"She doesn't want to talk to me normally, why would she want to talk to me now?"
Sarah says "Have you bothered to ask why she doesn't want to talk to you?"
"No, I figure the three of them will tell me when they are ready."
Sarah looks at Ruby and Isabella and when they don't say anything she drops the subject. Once I am sure no one is going to say anything I get up and move into the office. Then I take out the teleporter linked to my suite at the tower and start setting it up.
Isabella says "What did you need me for?"
"As a caster class you should have the most mana out of anyone. This teleporter needs to be primed, it should take you a couple of days."
Isabella says "Oh, okay. I can do that."
Ruby says "Why not me?"
"Because, while you probably have a lot of mana, you need it to maintain your presence here. Especially now that the medallion won't accept me as a power source."
Ruby says "Oh, I guess you are right."
"Have you been returning to recharge or has someone been helping you stay?"
Ruby says "Isabella has been helping me, along with some of the mages from the guild."
"I will make sure to thank Roddick for all his help. You know we are going to need to find someone else to wear the medallion, right?"
Ruby says "Can't Isabella do it?"
"I don't know, have you asked her?"
Ruby says "No."
With the teleporter set up I walk out of the room and leave the two of them to discuss it. Then I head downstairs and out onto the street, I have a few places to visit to drop stuff off. My first stop is Amarah's shop, to give her some dresses and request some.
Amarah says "Lord Ash! Welcome back!"
"Hello, Amarah, good to see you."
Amarah says "Good to see you too! Is there something I can do for you?"

"Yes, actually, but first I have something for you. I found these dresses in an ancient city, I thought you might like them."
Amarah says "Like them? I love them! The designs are so simple yet so elegant!"
"Well, if these manage to inspire you I would like dresses for the girls and Sarah. In fact Sarah probably needs a couple of outfits suitable for dealing with nobles."
Amarah says "I have already made a couple for her, but I can certainly make more!"
"Thank you!"
Leaving Amarah's store my next stop is to see Mitch and give him the bones I have collected. He is grateful and we chat for a few minutes before I leave. Then I head across the street to see Walter, which I am not looking forward to.
Walter yells "Where's my armor? What did you do to it?!"
"It's fine, I have it right here!"
Walter says "Well, why aren't you wearing it?"
"It needs to be modified to fit my wings."
Walter says "Oh, right. I can do that."
He takes the armor and almost instantly forgets I am even in the room with him. Since that was expected I don't take any offense and start removing leather and hide from my pouch. Leaving the pile for him to notice later I leave and head down to the end of the street and enter the blacksmiths.
Hyung says "My Lord, welcome back!"
Harold says "Hi, boss."
"Hi guys, how's it going?"
Hyung says "Great! We have made our own forge and tools so you can have yours back."
Harold says "Also, your order is complete."
Luckily, as they fetch my order I have a minute to remember what they are talking about. I don't really need the naginata anymore, but the swords for Vacker are still useful. As they lay them out I realize just how far I have to go as a blacksmith.
"These are beautiful!"
Harold says "The swords are enchanted already, but the spear is not."
Hyung says "We figured it was best to leave it blank and let you decide what you wanted to do with it."
"That's perfect! I have a new method of enchanting I've been wanting to try out."
Hyung says "I balanced the swords based on Vacker's height, if he has any issues have him come by."
"Alright, I will. How is everything else going?"
Harold says "Fantastic! Not only are we making things for Pol, but we are actually getting customers!"
Hyung says "Yes, things are the best they have been since we came to this world."
"That's good to hear! Isabella has kept you supplied with ore?"
Harold says "Oh, yeah! We have plenty!"
"Okay, good. Any complaints or any issues I should know about?"
Hyung says "Well, for the past couple of weeks some people have been watching the entrance to our street. They change looks but it is always the same people."
"They probably work for Pine, keep an eye on them and if they try anything the guards can handle it."
Harold says "Yes, sir."
Hyung says "That is the only thing I can think of."
"Alright, thank you. Keep up the good work, but remember to take a day off once in a while."
After saying goodbye to them I leave the street and head towards the church. As I do I notice the people Hyung mentioned, one even follows me. Looking at them I would label them as spies, just here to observe and report, no real threat at all.
Their presence makes me think that Pine is nervous that nothing has happened yet. I will have to remember to ask Ambrose how things are with the nobles when I see him. Or maybe Black and White will know how things stand, the church should have noble members.
When I enter the church all movement stops as everyone inside turns to bow to me. Including normal church members which is a little odd to say the least. I wave at them nervously as I walk down the aisle towards the altar, when I reach it I kneel and pay my respects.
Black says "Welcome, Lord Ash!"
White says "We are happy to see that you have returned safely!"
"Greetings, it is good to see you again. Is there someplace more private we can talk?"
Black says "Of course!"
White says "Follow us."
They lead me to a small door behind the altar, I have to bend over quite far to fit through it. Luckily, it is just wide enough for my shoulders to fit through, but I have to fold my wings tight. Once through the door, the hallway is decent sized, this looks like the living area for the church staff.
As I follow them down the hallway, everyone we pass stops to bow or even kneel to me. This level of respect makes me even more nervous, but I do my best not to show it. I am going to have to get used to all this, it is only going to get worse as time passes.
