Leonarr says "What are your instructions, My King?"
"She was already the leader of her people, so train her as a combat commander and see how she does."
Leonarr says "Understood!"
Once they leave I shapeshift back into a drake and launch into the air to fly back into the empire. Now that the beastmen are safe it's time to go back to the original plan, and have some fun. To try and avoid being spotted I fly higher than I ever have before.
To anyone on the ground I should just be a dot in the sky, which is my goal. Since I am going to cause chaos I don't want anyone to be able to link me to the kingdom. I want Sevaris to be convinced that he just has really bad luck, more I want his people to believe it.
When Sevaris' capital comes into sight I start losing altitude, now I want to be seen. So I dive down until I am just above rooftop level as I fly in over the city. I am quickly spotted and the entire city is soon in an uproar as I fly overhead.
A few archers take shots at me but I ignore them, none of the arrows even hit me. Luckily, as far as I can see, the city doesn't have any ballista or other siege engines. Those are the only things I would actually worry about, without those the city is helpless.
Even though I am flying slowly, so everyone can see me, it doesn't take long to reach Sevaris' castle. As I slowly circle the castle I focus on my breathing, trying to activate the drake breath weapon. Since I am a lightning beast I am expecting the breath to be lightning.
However, when I finally figure out how to activate it, what comes out isn't lightning. What pours out of my mouth is black fire, something I have never seen before. As the black fire pours out of my mouth and onto the castle, the stone of the castle melts.
In fact, the entire castle starts to melt as I continue to circle around it breathing out the black flames. It soon looks like a candle that was placed into a fire, it is terrifying even to me. I have faced a drake's flames, and they were nothing like this, even hellfire doesn't compare.
This form was named as a Blackflame drake, but I had thought that it was just a name. When the flames finally stop pouring out of my mouth the entire castle is destroyed. It isn't even on fire, the stone is all just melted into a pile, there is nothing left.
It is actually a little disappointing, I had planned to break in and do some looting once the castle was on fire. Now everything inside is undoubtedly destroyed, nothing valuable could have survived that. Not to mention that I would have to dig through all that melted stone to try and find anything.
The people of the city who just witnessed my attack are all standing around in open-mouthed shock and horror. Thanks to that the city is unnaturally silent, at least until they notice me looking at them. Then the city is suddenly filled with screams of panic as everyone tries to run away at the same time.

As they are running away I suddenly realize something, my attack was so brutal that no one in the castle escaped. That includes the servants and any prisoners that might have been inside, which makes me feel bad. I don't care about the soldiers, they get paid to take risks, but the servants are mostly innocent.
It is too late to change things now, in the future I will be much more careful about using the breath weapon. I am not done with this city yet though, Zamart gave me a list of properties Sevaris owns. For these, I definitely don't want to use my breath weapon, I will just use physical force.
So I fly over two streets and drop down into the street sending everyone running. Spotting the store name I am looking for I slowly start tearing the front of the building off. This gives any customers and employees the time to run out the back.
Once I can't sense anyone in the store anymore I proceed to bring the rest of the building down. As I am tearing the building down a brave group of city guards run up and try to attack me. Feeling bad about the innocents I already killed I simply wave my tail at them.
Those that are too slow and fail to dodge are sent flying into the surrounding buildings. Most of them are hurt but I don't think I killed any of them, those that dodged run away. It seems this is the limit of their courage, but I let them go and continue destroying the building.
The building to either side ends up receiving some damage, but I try to keep it light. Once the store is completely destroyed I fly up and head to the next one. There are plenty of stores that Sevaris has a stake in, but I am only going for the ones he owns outright.
As I continue to rampage through the city, all the people of the city evacuate. By the time I am looking for the last store there isn't a single person left inside the city. At least that is what I thought before I see a kid in an alley I am passing.
The kid is under ten years old and so dirty I can't tell if it is a boy or a girl. What caught my eye is the kid has silver hair, so I stop and take a look at it. The kid shows no fear of me at all, it even raises its arms towards me and laughs.
Out of curiosity I lower my head until the kid can reach it and the kid starts petting my nose. As the hands touch my nose I feel a spark of power from the kid, magic power. It would seem the kid has a lot of magic potential, but I don't have the testing stone anymore.
"Ekard?"
Ekard says "Yes, mama?"
"Can someone else join you in the shadow pocket?"
Ekard comes out of the shadow pocket to sit on my shoulder and then takes a look at the child. After giving me a nod he uses my neck and head as a bridge to walk over to the child. The kid starts petting Ekard once he is in range and then both of them vanish into the shadow pocket.
With the kid safely stowed away I continue on to the last shop and start tearing it apart. No one interrupts me and the store is a pile of rubble after a few minutes. Once that is done I launch into the air and circle the city one more time.
All the people of the city are standing in the hills surrounding the city watching. They are probably expecting me to reduce the entire city to rubble or set it on fire. When I turn and fly off to the north I can hear them cheering behind me.
After flying north for a while I climb high into the sky and turn west to return to the kingdom. Despite the time spent in the city it is only lunch time when I return to Mercy's army. I return to my normal form before flying down so that the soldiers don't go into a panic again.
Mercy says "So, how did it go?"
"Everything went as planned for the most part. Now I will wait and see how Sevaris reacts. If he doesn't move back I will go destroy more stuff."
Mercy says "That's a surprise! I expected you to just go destroy everything for fun!"
"Well, I will admit that it is fun playing monster!"
