While they wouldn't fall far, the problem is the speed that Lizzy is moving at. At this speed they could seriously injure themselves by falling off, so I am a little paranoid. While I could heal them easily enough, they would still have to experience the pain.

While pain is a part of life I would prefer to protect them from it for a while longer. Let them be kids for as long as possible, they will most likely have to grow up too soon. Running around with me it isn't like they are going to grow up sheltered or anything.

While Ekard shows signs of staying a child for a long time, Haku is already growing. The next few months will probably have Haku growing to almost adult size. Animals tend to mature quickly, and the abundant food he is getting is certainly helping.

In fact, it probably won't be long before having him on Lizzy's back isn't an option. When I ask the goddesses about the next reward I should include Haku as well. Actually, I am fine now so I should probably get that conversation out of the way.

"Lizzy, I am going to open a soulscape and talk to the goddesses. Keep an eye on things for me."

Lizzy says "Sure thing. Try not to get in trouble!"

"I'll try!"

'Create Soulscape!'

This time I create a world full of mountains and set up a nice plateau picnic area. It is only the size of a large room but there are epic views in every direction. I am not trying to distract the goddesses, if I was I would bring the kids into the soulscape.

Nothing I create could distract the goddesses as much as Ekard would. This is all meant only to be pleasant scenery, which the goddesses probably won't even notice. Still, I create a nice table full of tea and treats, then I put three comfy chairs around it.

"Seronia, Krenocia, I invite you to my soulscape!"

Then I sit down and patiently wait for them to appear, but after a few minutes of waiting I start getting bored. So, to entertain myself, I start creating monsters in the valleys between the mountains. Then I sit back, drink some tea, eat some snacks, and watch them fight.

*DING*

By the time Krenocia shows up I have been watching the monsters fight for over an hour. Since it is the soulscape I know it hasn't really been an hour, but that is what it feels like. She doesn't say anything, she just sits down and takes a cup of tea, her sister shows up a few minutes later.

Seronia says "So, are you done avoiding us? Are you finally going to tell us what stupid thing you did this time?"

"It is nothing major, just some side effects from shapeshifting."

Krenocia says "Nothing major, he says!"

Seronia says "Did you really think you could hide your condition from us?"

Krenocia says "Did you think you could suffer that much pain without us noticing?"

"Honestly, yeah I did."

Seronia says "You really think we are that oblivious? That we could miss something so obvious?"

Krenocia says "Don't get us wrong, we don't watch you all the time. But we do check in on you regularly."

Seronia says "And no way could we miss you lying in agony as your body tried to tear itself apart!"

"Oh, it wasn't that bad! It would have been fine if I had figured out sooner that the residue was blocking my healing."

Krenocia says "Residue? From shapeshifting? Is that even possible?"

"It was only from using the drake form. It is just too powerful for me currently."

Seronia says "So, you managed to shapeshift into something you can't handle and that's all you have to say?"

"Yeah, I learned my lesson. I won't use that form again unless I have to."

Krenocia says "Save your breath sister, you know how he is."

Seronia says "Ash, sometimes you make me want to strangle you!"

"I'm sorry. It's not like I have an instruction manual. Experimenting is the only way I have to increase my knowledge."

Krenocia says "Alright, enough of that. What did you call us for, Ash?"

"I have a request for the reward for the next temple."

Krenocia says "Sure, what request?"

"I would like three items that allow the wearer to control their size. The idea is to have Kechara, Asuna, and Haku able to control their size. That way they can turn small and travel with me."

Krenocia says "That's a cute idea! We should be able to do that!"

Seronia says "The spells are easy enough, but the items will have to be something like a collar."

"That should be fine, as long as the collars can fit their necks."

Seronia says "The collars will be able to change size to fit them, no matter what size they are."

Krenocia says "I look forward to seeing Kechara and Asuna at baby size again!"

Seronia says "Just imagine how cute all four will be when they are together!"

"Yes, I can imagine. It will be a cuteness overload!"

Krenocia says "I can't wait! Hurry and destroy the next temple!"

"Alright, I will move it up on the list! But it still won't happen immediately. You are going to have to be patient."

Krenocia says "I don't want to! I want my cuteness overload now!"

Seronia says "Don't pay any attention to her, she is just teasing you."

Watching Krenocia stick her tongue out at her sister is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. It is also extremely cute, on a level that makes me think marrying them wouldn't be so bad. It is rare enough to see them acting human, let alone girlish, it is unexpected.

As they continue to tease each other I can't help but think I am probably the only one who has ever seen them like this. Well, maybe the other gods in the pantheon might have seen this before they died. I am probably the only mortal who has ever seen it, yet it worries me.

If they are willing to act like this around me then our relationship isn't normal. Maybe they aren't joking about becoming my wives if I become a god. That means if I choose not to become a god they are going to be really disappointed.

Krenocia says "What's got you looking so serious all of a sudden?"

"Sorry, I was thinking about the future. Well, worrying would be more accurate."

Seronia says "Anything we can help with?"

"Not exactly. Although there is one thing I wanted to ask you about."

Krenocia says "Ask away. We will answer if we can."

"On this last trip I have had a lot of time to think about things and I think I am broken."
