Lin is probably lost in her work, but eventually she will get hungry enough and come back. Once the wands are done, the next time I get stuck I figure out how I want to make the bows. Zachariah sent me several different types of wood, so I will be merging them together.
That way I can use the best qualities of the different woods to make a better bow. Normally, this requires a lot of time and glue, but I have gotten good at cheating with magic. Not only is it a faster process with magic, but the results should be better as well.
However, I quickly realize that I forgot something, I don't have any material to use for the string. With the amount of magic I plan to put into the bow a normal string won't work. On the other hand, there is another option if I can figure out how to do it.
Several anime have bows where the string is replaced with light and the bows create energy arrows. Not needing to carry arrows around would definitely make the bow more convenient. I already know how to create energy arrows, so the string should be easy enough.
However, just as I am about to start experimenting, I realize what I need to do to fix the next error. So, I go back to working on the spell and before I know it Lin is walking through the gates. I put everything down and go to greet her with a kiss, then we head inside and have dinner.
We enjoy a nice quiet dinner with just the two of us and then I open a soulscape. After the soulscape ends, Lin and I head to bed, then a few hours later she is sound asleep. Then I return to the tower roof and go back to working on the spell.
I should be working on my core, but I am so close to finishing the spell that I can't stop now. As it stands I only have two errors left to fix and so far I haven't created any new ones. If I can just fix these last two errors the spell will be just about done, finally.
It ends up being harder than I expected since the two errors are linked. I end up having to solve both errors at once which is quite complicated and takes me hours. However, when I manage it, the spell is finally done and I don't find any more errors.
I do manage to clean up a few rough spots when I go back through the entire spell. When Lin wakes up in the morning I will ask her to go through it and double check my work. Until then, I start my experiments to make and enchant an energy bow.
Compared to the pocket world spell, figuring out the enchantment for an energy bow is simple. It only takes me about an hour to figure out and test the enchantments needed. After that it is simply a matter of repeating the process to make more bows.
Of course, since I am not an expert with the bow I can't be sure just how good they are. I know that they work and don't need arrows, but beyond that I need someone to test one. I will ask Brightfire to test one out later, she should be with the elves that come ashore.

By the time Lin wakes up in the morning I have completed all of the wands and twenty bows. Based on the amounts of the remaining wood, I should be able to make another eighty or so bows. Meaning Zachariah will get ten bows and the elves will get ninety or more.
Once Lin is awake I clean everything up and head downstairs to have breakfast with her. After we are done eating, I hand her the new spell and ask her to check it for me. It takes her a while to read through the spell, but she doesn't make any changes to it.
Lin says "I can't understand all of it, but I don't see any errors or problems with the spell. Why are there no set mana requirements?"
"Because of how the spell works. The more space you want to create, the more mana that is required. With enough mana the spell can live up to its name and create a space big enough to contain an entire world."
Lin says "Are you serious? How much mana would that take?!"
"I don't know for sure, probably millions. We aren't doing anything that insane, we won't need that much. Although I will need your help when I do the enchantment, I don't have enough mana."
Lin says "Sure. When do you want to do the enchantment?"
"We can do it while the first groups of elves are exploring the city."
Lin says "Okay."
Lin and I head down to the dock to be in place to meet the elves when they come over. When the elves come over I take Brightfire aside and ask her to test out the bow. Unfortunately, the bow is a little too eye-catching and everyone notices when she tests it.
"So, how is it?"
Brightfire says "It's amazing! Far stronger than even the bow you enchanted for me! It looks really expensive, is it really alright for me to have this?"
"Of course, it's fine. I will be making more for the elves, about ninety. Oh, here, I made new wands as well."
Brightfire says "Great! These will increase our combat strength by a lot!"
"Good. I don't expect the next part of our journey to be as quiet as it has been so far. We should be prepared for multiple attacks from demon beasts at least. The demons might even try something."
Brightfire says "Understood. I will make sure everyone is trained on how to respond during an attack."
"Oh, that reminds me. The caravan bringing more elves should be arriving tomorrow. They will be brought straight to this dock. We will need people to help them and comfort them."
Stillwater says "No problem. We are used to it by now. You said it would be around a hundred elves?"
"It should be a little over a hundred. They should be in better shape though, the merchants were told to take care of them."
Stillwater says "That's good. Alright, we will be ready."
After that, we get the elven groups moving with their adventurer bodyguards and guides. Once they are gone, Lin and I return to the castle and I start adding the stone to the castle. At first I just increase the density, then I discuss the changes with Lin before doing anything else.
Mainly so that I can avoid getting in trouble by making changes without asking. Not only does Lin approve of the changes, but she also has some suggestions. The main one being to add some extra bedrooms so that if we need to shelter people we have room for them.
"Well, Zachariah was generous and gave me plenty of stone. I could easily add another level to the main building and separate it into rooms."
