Vacker says "I actually agree for the most part. The question is how would the beastmen fare after?"

"What do you mean?"

Vacker says "Well, for starters would they have the numbers left after the war to continue as a nation? Also wouldn't one or more of the human kingdoms see their weakened state as a chance to attack?"

"Huh, I actually hadn't thought past the war itself."

Vacker says "You should think about it. After all, if you build them into a nation and become their king then you bear the responsibility for them."

"You are right. I will modify my plans for what will happen after my death."

Vacker says "Your death? What do you mean?"

Myria sadly says "Ash will die once the demon invasion is over."

Vacker says "You say that like it is a predetermined fate or something."

"Actually, it is something like that."

So while we sit around waiting for Lizzy to wake up I explain in detail to Vacker. He has caught hints here and there but this is the first time he has heard in detail about Krenocia and our deal. I hadn't planned to tell him all this just in case he was looking for a successor to pass on his knowledge to, now I won't qualify.

Vacker says "That is a pretty raw deal you got dealt. How are you so okay with it?"

"My life in my old world was way worse, even if it is a limited time deal it is worth it to be in this world."

Myria says "That is his answer every time we ask him about it."

"That's because that is how I really feel."

Vacker says "Then that is good enough."

Lizzy wakes up finally putting an end to the conversation which suits me just fine. Before it can continue I jump up and start gathering the bags to tie to Lizzy's saddle. The others seeing me getting ready also stand up and gather around Lizzy so that we can teleport out of here.

Once the bags are secure we all lock hands on top of the saddle. When I am sure everyone is good and connected I tell Myria to break the item. In a flash we are somewhere else, and immediately Vacker is puking in the corner. Lizzy just grumbles unhappily, while Myria looks like she wants to join Vacker but is fighting it.

Someone ran screaming from the room when we appeared, I'm guessing it was a student or something and I am hoping whoever shows up next is more level headed. Although, it would be ironic if we got attacked here after teleporting to avoid all the danger. That possibility vanishes as I see guildmaster Roddick walk into the room.

Roddick says "Welcome back, everyone!"

"Thank you, Guildmaster Roddick."

Roddick says "Just Roddick please."

"Alright, Roddick, I'm sorry for missing our meeting, can we reschedule it?"

Roddick says "Of course! Ambrose will want to hear what you have to say even more now!"

"Sometime tomorrow then? I need to see my people and take care of something today."

Roddick says "I will make the arrangements. Anything else I can be of help with?"

"Not right now, but I'm sure something will come up."

Roddick says "Well, when it does, don't hesitate to ask!"

"I will, thank you. For now we will get out of everyone's way. Oh, sorry for scaring whoever was watching the room."

Roddick laughs and says "Don't worry, I'm sure he has learnt a valuable lesson about sleeping on the job!"

After giving another round of thanks we all head outside, I carry two of the gold bags to lessen the load on Lizzy. We turn and head towards summoned lane and the inn I have come to think of as home. Vacker is busy looking around and taking in the sights of what will be his new home.

"Mericel, you like freaking people out. Want to go over to the cathedral and let the high priestesses know I have returned?"

Mericel grins and says "Sure!"

Myria says "I hope the modifications to the inn are done!"

"What modifications?"

Myria smirks and says "Wait and see!"

No matter what I say Myria remains silent on the subject so in the end I give up and have to wait and see. When we turn onto my street, at first I can't make out any differences, but as we get closer I can tell something is off. It takes me a minute to realize what I am seeing, the entire inn has been redone so that it looks brand new, but that isn't what Myria was so excited about.

They have added another entire story to the inn, it is done so well that it looks like it has always been there. I can tell from the excited look on Myria's face that this must have something to do with me. Did they add another story just for me, well me and the girls?

"Is that for us?"

Myria says "Yep! We now have a place to call home!"

"Is Pol working out of here?"

Myria says "No, he and his people took over that building over there."

"Okay, I can talk to him later. Is everyone else going to be here?"

Myria says "No, Alannis and Leyla are still with Mercy as far as I know."

"Are Justin and his group still with Mercy?"

Myria says "Yes, they are."

Drog says "Isabella will be here right?!"

Myria says "Yes, she should be."

Drog says "Yay! Boobies!" and takes off running.

Myria says "Dirty pervert!"

"He never changes."

Myria says "Are Isabella's boobs that much better than mine?"

"Not better, just bigger."

Myria says "Oh, so you have looked!"

"Umm, let's go say hi to Sarah."
