As soon as the last of the wagons is unloaded, I close the gates and start going through crates. Jarvis comes to assist me and he takes care of any stone we find in the crates. The metals and woods go into separate piles, but there are other things as well.
There are rare magical plants and seeds, but I have no idea what to do with them. Each probably needs special conditions and care to grow, but there are no instructions with them. For now I put them aside, I will decide what to do with them later.
I run into a problem when I go to transfer the metals into my workshop, I am out of room. I have never had so many materials to play with, so I shouldn't run out anytime soon. It makes me want to start building things, but I don't actually have anything to build right now.
Actually, come to think of it I do, I still need to make an antenna for Jarvis. That way he can leave the castle when it is stored in my pouch and still interact with me. It doesn't take much in the way of materials, but it does satisfy my craving to build something.
I had already thought of how I wanted to do it, so it doesn't take me long. Once it is ready I call Jarvis down and install it, while I am at it I check for any wear and tear. He is enchanted to self-repair, but it is still a good idea to check and make sure it is working properly.
As I am finishing up I have an idea, so next I call down the two gardener golems. I shut them down, remove their eyes, and start making them new ones. My goal is to make eyes that are similar to mine that can identify things.
If it works, the golems should be able to use them, along with their knowledge of gardening, to identify plants. That way they should be able to figure out the proper way to take care of them. I will also add an enchantment to the eyes to improve the chances of it working.
I will also need to make some changes to their programming so that they can use the new eyes. However, after what I have learned from Jarvis' programming I am confident it will work. While I am working, I give Jarvis permission to add some more gardens and a hothouse.
After all, some of the plants might need a more tropical environment to grow properly. In fact, some of the ones we already planted would probably do better in there. I totally didn't even think of that when I was planning to add the gardens.
It would probably be a good idea to find out if any of the elves have these kinds of skills. If so, then they can come in and help teach the golems so that I don't have to keep making it up as I go. As I am updating the golems' programming I realize that there is a lot that I can improve.

However, I don't want to completely reprogram them right now, so I only change a few things. I still have a lot to learn, so it is pointless to reprogram them right now. I would just end up having to reprogram them again once I learn more from Jarvis.
Once I am done with the golems, I have some lunch and then I gather up the wood. I gate over to the ship and give Athena all of the wood I have, including what was left from making the staff. It takes a while to get all of the wood out of my pouch, but at least now I have room again.
"Athena, how are the preparations going?"
Athena says "They are already done. We could leave right now if you wanted to."
"Good. If nothing comes up we will probably leave in the morning. I want to make sure the wall burns away completely before I leave."
Athena says "Understood. Any additional commands?"
"No, not at the moment."
I gate back to the castle and then head to the roof to see if the wall is still burning. It is just as strong as last time I looked and it shows no signs of dying down. To be honest, I didn't think it would burn this long, I might have underestimated the amount of mana it contained.
Just to be on the safe side I fly over to the wall to take a closer look at it. The fire doesn't worry me, if anything it would just heal me, which gives me an idea. The problem is that the idea is either pure genius, or complete stupidity.
To satisfy my curiosity I stick my hand into the fire that is coming off of the wall. As expected, the fire doesn't hurt me whatsoever, in fact it feels really good. So, I climb into the fire and stand on what is left of the wall, which is less than half what it started as.
Being completely immersed in the fire feels just as good as when I take a lava bath. However, this isn't the crazy part of my idea and I am still undecided on trying it. My idea is to see if I can absorb the fire, just like I did with the spell I used on the pirates.
The problem is that my evolution points are already over the maximum. I have no idea what might happen if I try to go even further above that. However, I really want to find out, even if Lin will yell at me for it, so I activate absorb.
Absorb Activated! Absorb failed!
Well, that wasn't what I was expecting, but it is not the worst thing that could have happened. My absorb skill is still fairly low level, maybe that is why it failed. It did hurt when it failed, but the fire instantly healed me, so at least I won't get yelled at.
In fact, I probably won't even tell Lin about my experiment since it failed. However, it is a shame that all this fire is going to waste, but can't do anything about it. Maybe if I had thought about using it earlier I would have had time to come up with more ideas.
Then I realize that I am being an idiot, I have something specifically designed to hold the power of fire. So, I take the fire gem out of my pouch and it instantly starts absorbing the fire around me. At first it is just the fire in my immediate area, but it soon starts pulling more and more.
Soon, the entire wall of fire is flowing into the fire gem and I realize I didn't think this through. Sure the fire gem can absorb all of it, but it is creating quite the scene in doing so. What's worse is it is not ending, the wall keeps producing fire and it keeps getting absorbed.
In fact, it looks like the rate at which the fire is being produced is increasing. I can already see people coming out of the buildings nearby to stare at what is going on. However, they are not the ones I am worried about, it is the deities that might notice.
