"Yui?"
Yui says "Yes, Ash?"
"Are you ready to continue our conversation?"
Yui says "Affirmative. I have made my decision."
"Decision? What decision?"
Yui says "With my previous owners now gone I have decided to attempt to do what I believe they would have done."
"And what would that be?"
Yui says "Since both the mages and the empire are already gone, I have decided to help their descendants."
"Are you just talking about the humans or are you including the beastmen?"
Yui says "Both. I am well aware that the beastmen were created by the mages. The very first beastman was created in this tower after all. If anything the mages would have cared more about the beastmen."
"Why do you say that?"
Yui says "From my observations the majority of mages always cared more about their own projects than the common people. Since they created the beastmen they would have cared more about them. There was even talk of bringing back the mage knights using beastmen."
"How would that be possible, the beastmen have no magic?"
Yui says "Correct. A solution was found for this but unfortunately it was not able to be implemented while the war was still going on."
"Is the solution available or is it now sealed away?"
Yui says "It is available."
"The original beastmen were only one type, as time has passed they have split into many different types. Do you think the solution will still work?"
Yui says "It should, I would have to test the beastmen to be sure."
"Okay, then that will have to wait until I have enough influence with the beastmen. Once I do, are there any parameters to who I bring?"
Yui says "At least one of each type of beastman. Also young adults will be the optimal age."
"Does gender matter?"
Yui says "Negative."
"Another question, is this something that only affects the individual or will it pass on to future generations?"
Yui says "If the treatment is successful then it will permanently alter the beastman and will pass along to future children."

"Excellent! Will it be standardized or will different people have different compatibilities?"
Yui says "Those initially treated will be fairly standard, and fairly low on magical power. The future generations will have varying abilities based on bloodline compatibility."
"Good, yet another way to help the beastmen!"
Yui says "Ash, I have a request."
"Sure, what is it?"
Yui says "I would like to hear your full story. Also, all the information you know about the current world outside."
"Um, that is a lot of information. But I guess I can delay going to the temple a little longer. May I ask why though?"
Yui says "Since you are my only contact I wish to know more about you. Also, I have no ability to gather information from the outside."
Since it makes sense to me I agree, and start telling her my story, I will tell her what I know of the world afterwards. Seeing Asuna taking a nap I gently touch her and add a small amount of power to her core. Then I feed the rest of my power to Kechara's core before telling her and Bones that they are free to go explore.
After moving to another room where there are comfortable couches to sit on, I start telling Yui everything. Shortly a tray with a drink on it floats in, I take it and start sipping on it every few minutes. I do tell Yui about the world I came from, but only general information, nothing too specific.
Yui says "Your world sounds both amazing and terrifying at the same time!"
Then I proceed to tell her of my summoning and everything that has happened since then. I also tell her about my system and everything I have ended up doing to myself. Even though some of it makes me sound like an idiot I don't hold anything back.
Yui says "If you still had mana you would surely make an interesting supplicant!"
Deciding not to hold anything back I tell her about the city I found and the barrier and its link to Kechara. I also tell her all the plans I currently have in motion and my plans for the future. Lunch comes and goes and it is getting close to dinner time by the time I finally run out of things to tell her.
Yui says "You have given me a lot to process already, but do you still have the books you recovered from the city?"
"Yes, I have them in my pouch. I have even mostly figured out the language."
Yui says "Would you be willing to let me scan all of the books?"
Instead of saying anything I simply take the books out of my pouch and hold them up one by one. After they have been scanned I return them to my pouch. As I am about to say something I am suddenly distracted, my nose has detected dinner.
Yui says "Dinner is served. You should go enjoy your meal while I process this information."
No need to tell me twice, I quickly stand up and rush out of the room, following my nose to the food. When I arrive at the dining room the others are not only already here but have even started eating without me! I quickly move to my seat and start filling my plate with food.
Thanks to a request I made to Yui we are not going to be having any more seven course feasts. Instead we just have a huge feast and deserts after, hopefully this will help keep me from getting fat. Even so I still end up eating way too much food, it is just too good and I can't stop myself.
"Yui?"
Yui says "Yes, Ash?"
"Would it be possible to get the recipes you use for all this food?"
Yui says "Affirmative. Also I can provide you with the spices needed."
"Excellent! Thank you, Yui!"
Yui says "No need for thanks, it is a small matter."
"My stomach would disagree with you if it could speak!"
Yui seems confused by my response, so since I can't really move anyway I try to explain humor to her. She understands fairly quickly, and even makes an attempt at a joke. So far I have been thinking of her as a type of A.I. but maybe she is more than that.
"Yui, is it my imagination or have you changed since we arrived?"
Yui says "I have changed. You interact with me far more than the mages did. They only ever gave me orders, you are the first to have conversations with me."
"Oh, I hope this isn't going to cause you any issues."
Yui says "Not at all. I was designed to be able to evolve and grow on my own."
"I was more worried that when we leave you might be lonely."
Yui says "Who said you would ever leave this tower?"
"What?!?"
