Raven thrust his finger in the direction of the now quivering Rookie Reaper. "I'mma bout to do Dark Potatoes's work here because he clearly can't see past his hood."
"W-what work?" Larry demanded.
"Did you actually look at the evidence, or did you expect it to do your work for ya? Why haven't we discussed that the victim was shot in the back of the head?"
The judge lifted her glasses with the pearly strings. "Yes Larry, why haven't we discussed it?"
"B-Because," Larry stammered, before a quick smirk curled over his face. "Isn't it obvious? She shot him while his back was turned."
The judge faced Raven with a look of ire. "Mhm, that's right. Couldn't she just have distracted him and shot him with the gun she found?"
Raven lifted up the baggy with a grin on his face. "Of course she could. But that's not counting the fact that the gun she conveniently found doesn't fire the way Juan was killed."
The judge peered out from behind her glasses, magnifying her elderly eyes ten times. "Oh..." she said. "How was he killed?"
"You see," Raven said, pointing at the UK-ZI. "This gun is a Uzi and it doesn't fire just one round. It fires multiple rounds at a rapid, easy pace. If poor little Mina was so inclined, she could have just fired a hundred bullets into Mr. Incognito in seconds flat. But that's not what happened here. There was a single shot fired at the back of his head...nailing it perfectly."
"B-b-but," Larry stammered.
Raven narrowed his eyes and pretended to hold a longe range sniper. He sniped Larry with his invisible gun. "This might be too soon...but headshot!"
"And let me add," Raven squawked. "That the gun in question is made in Liverpool. It's not just an Uzi but a UK-Zi. And who do we know in this case who is supposedly an English gentlemen? Well, judge, jury and executioner, I can tell you there's nothing gentle about this man."

Mina's phone nearly exploded with a loud. "Poppycock, balderdash and simply ridiculous, I say!"
"Good sir!" the Duke answered in his refined accent. "Or rather, bad sir! Do you know who I am, I say?"
Raven placed his hand to his swarthy goatee. "I dunno. Do you know who you are?! I know you purport to be a Duke but I'm starting to think you're nothing but a dic..."
"My name is not Richard, I say!" the Duke howled. "And besides, I wasn't at the crime scene. I may have watched my pure Mina murder a man in my honor, but I was miles away! In fact, you may know who I am...but you don't know where I am!"
"Hold on a minute," Raven said, stepping down from the podium.
He reversed himself and began to moonwalk across the floor like the famous Jack Michaelson. Everyone watched his smooth moves and even smoother cross examination as he picked up Mina's phone. "According to the caller ID, you are calling from the Venetian Hotel, downtown and straight across from the back alley where the crime was perpetrated. I gotta say Mr. Duke. Finding a rare snipe is a lot harder than finding a sniper!"
For the first time in the whole case, the Duke was silent. The courtroom was too. Everyone was marveling in amazement in how the man simply decimated his competition. It seemed he was a legal wizard.
At last, the Duke howled and screamed at the top of his lungs. "POPPYCOCK, BALDERDASH and simply ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous, I say. I uh....gotta go!"
The phone clicked off. There was a look of relief in Mina's eyes and she reached to touch Raven's hand from the floor. He helped her to her feet.
"Thank you!" she said, trying hard not to lisp.
Raven took a humble bow. "Not a problem kid. And look at that, you get a sappy but true moral baked into this too. Don't just fall for anyone you meet or you'll be a certified, bona-fide fall girl! And trust me, you're worth so much more than that!"
"I think I learned my lesson..." she said with gratitude in her eyes. "I may have thought he was a Duke but he was really a..dic…"
The judge whacked her gavel loudly. "I hate to ruin this morality tale and subsequent wordplay. But whose going to stop the Duke?! Are just gonna let a sniper run rampant in Business Park?!"
Raven flashed his own E-Phone. It was bright purple like his matching suit. "Not on my watch! Or phone! I'm gonna call someone very important up to arrest this crook!"
"Who?!" Mina asked, still clutching his hand.
Raven gave a wink. "The coppers, duh. But more specifically, my momma."
"Your momma?" Mina, the judge and Larry all exclaimed.
"Yep! Chief Rita O'Law!"
