"Wha that whaaaaaaa..." Mina's mouth gaped open as her mind spun. Two of her biggest arch enemies in love (for she had managed to pull the good old fashioned lover heist on Chad from Vicki and Blind from Ashley) were not only interested in teaming up with her, but they were going to help her bring about the end of the reign of Electra.

Vicki held up her purse, containing the bug-eyed but adorable Chihuahua named Taco. "Are you hard of hearing, brunette?" the snooty blonde said. "In addition to being stupid?!"

"As a prosecutor," Ashley smirked. "I can testify to that."

"No..." Mina said, "More like my mind is going a thousand places at once. Why are you helping me?"

"WE'RE NOT HELPING YOU!" both of adversaries screamed in her face.

Ashley quickly regained her composure. "I have just uncovered a massive legal scandal that runs right back to the Electra Company with a bow on. Do you remember the DeFunkt case?"

"The one I beat you at?!" Mina said, trying to maintain the high ground.

"Actually undergrad, you lost," Ashley smirked, placing her hand on her hips. "Monika Krepes, the unbelievably haughty French starlet had been set up by her ex-boyfriend Flannel Billions who was working for the Electra Company."

Mina tried hard to remember that case. She had gotten her client, Todd Matinee off free, and Monika Krepes arrested for blowing up his partner, but she didn't know this detail.

Ashley placed a cat glove to her cheek. "And Dustin Himbolake admitted to working with Electra too. She wanted to ruin you more than even I could."

Even Mina knew that much. But she still couldn't fathom why Electra had taken such a hatred to her. Everyone who knew her who wasn't a love-rival knew she was adorkable. She spoke up. "Electra really did this to me...just because I brought those explosive batteries to everyone's attention?!"

For once, Victoria spoke up over Ashley, she was still holding Taco up in her electric yellow purse. "You don't know my mom, Mina. Or the Mom-ager as I call her. She didn't get to where she is by being a vapid ditz who thinks cuter than she is..."

Mina winced. Even when she was nice, Vicki still brought her insult A-Game.

"My mom is a super smart blonde. A cunning blonde too. One who knows that you have to step on everyone to get to the top. And once you get to the top, you have to stay there and that requires even more head-rolling!"

Mina frowned. "So I'm just another head she has to roll?"

"Considering it's never on your shoulders," Ashley snarked. "That's an easy feat."

Mina winced again. Together, her two jilted adversaries were an insult tank!

Vicki nodded. "You were just another expendable. And it started with her refusing to pay your legal fees. Which I would have totally paid otherwise."

Mina clenched her fists. Not allowing her to pay her student loans was the biggest declaration of war there was...for her generation.

"Thank you," Mina said through a grimace. Now Electra had done far far worse, but to quote famous folk singer Dog Stevens, the first cut was the deepest. "What is this about her murdering people?"

"Well..." Ashley said, "this is where it gets juicy. "You see...DeFunkt's Todd Matinee's father, Jean Matinee has a high standing in Paris. He's one of the political elites. And while Electra was visiting France, I learned she had struck up a friendship..or as they say in France, a liaison with him."

"Not surprised there!" Mina said with a roll of her eyes. "I'm surprised there wasn't a Menage-A-Twats too."

"Much worse," Ashley answered. "Vicki has told me that he went missing the day she returned to the US. And his body was nowhere to be found."

"Wait...hold my E-Phone!" Mina exclaimed. "Are you saying she got close to and killed a French politician? Why?!"

Ashley shook her head. "Of all the things a brainy wiz kid like me knows, sadly that's not one of them."

Vicki nodded. "Me neither. All I know is it might be connected to her running for president."

Mina closed her eyes to take all of this in. "So..." she said. "Do you expect me, a small time lawyer to sue her over this? I think she could crush me like an insect!"

"Of course she can," Ashley smirked. "That's not why we're here."

"Why are you?"

There was a sinister glint in Vicki's eyes. She reached into her purse next to Taco and pulled out hair dye for platinum blonde locks. "Nope, brunette. You're going to infiltrate the Electra Company and find the dirt that will bring her down from the inside!"

Vicki howled with laughter as she clutched the sinister dye. Mina's signature brown hair roots tingled nervously.
