With everything dark around her, all Mina could do was observe the smells and temperature of Blind's inner sanctum.
The room was noticably more chill than the warmed hallways of Versailles like his icy demeanor. And everything smelled nice like it belonged to someone who wasn't dousing himself in cologne.
"Well..." Blind said, as they had stepped into his room. "It's time you see my humble abode."
Mina lifted the veil from her eyes and her jaw dropped. Not only was everything perfectly arrayed and coordinated, but it sure was swanky.
The room was monochromatic with the sole exception of a regal red king-sized bed with satin sheets. It looked perfect for a long session of cuddling and saying mushy words to each other.
In one corner, there was a voluminous bookshelf built into the wall, containing every time of law written in braille, dating all the way up to 2023.
In the opposing corner, a four-dimensional game of chess was played with marble pieces. Most noticably at the very top, a red king was cornered by a hot pink queen. ('A lot of symbolism there,' Mina snickered beneath her breath, 'but I approve.')
The floors were checkered, polished black and white marble much like the chess board, and beside a spiral staircase leading up to the roof, was a vintage desk carved in oak wood and painted black.
Atop the desk, next to piles of paperwork, were three photos with braille labels carved into the frame. The first was his old sassy grandma, Justice Divine Justice, and the second, a couple, a beautiful and handsome dark skinned man and woman in red legal suits ('My lawd' Mina remarked, 'Not only are his parents also prosecutors but he gets his perfection from both sides of the family.)
And lastly, there was a photo of a somewhat gawky, grinning young brunette attorney in her signature pink law suit. Mina immediately uttered a loud 'a-ha!' when she saw it.

"Willy..." she said, grinning from ear to ear. "Now I know why you asked me to send you a pic of myself!"
Blind chuckled. "Yes...considering my lack of vision, I certainly couldn't do anything naughty like most men. I just wanted a framed picture of my sweetheart."
He gave her a warm squeeze that made her hair stand on end.
"Even if you can't see it?" she said blushing.
"Oh..." Blind chuckled. "I have that taken care of too. I don't believe you've met my butler."
"Butler?" Mina squeaked. "I don't believe I saw anyone else in here."
"And that's where you're wrong..." a posh voice chuckled. "A pleasure to meet you Head Mistress Mina!"
An overhead circular robot hovered over Mina's head resembling a cross between a drone and a UFO. Like a projector, it cast a hologram of a middle aged man in a butler's tuxedo. Everything from his balding hairline with white-grey tufts of hair hanging over his ears, to a wizened and somewhat snooty face gave off the typical butler veneer. Almost out of something from a Amazer comic book. And that made Blind a real Bruce Payne.
The holographic butler bowed humbly. "Al, automated butler at your service! And I must say, my master has me reciting the precise facial features of your portrait 23 times a day."
Al gave a knowing smirk. "Everything ranging from that slightly round button nose fit for an overcoat to the post adolescent gaps between your teeth, to the slightly thickened eyebrows. You are nothing fancy, and yet, you absolutely strike my master's fancy!"
"Gah!" Blind gasped, losing his normal cool as he slapped his hand over his face. "He wasn't supposed to say that! He must be malfunctioning again!"
"Not at all, sir!" Al answered. "My gossip chip is always on the fritz!"
Mina held a hand to her face and giggled coyly. But Blind quickly seized her hand. He led her to the spiral staircase. "I love my robot butler as he helps me accomplish all of my everyday tasks. But they haven't ironed out all his quirks yet!"
"I think he's really funny!" Mina giggled again. "Plus, I don't mind the fact that you like to imagine my face! Some other men don't keep their imaginations so high up when they think of me!"
Blind, now as red as his lawyer suit, was still grimacing. "I just realized we aren't gonna get any privacy...unless we go up here!"
"Where?" Mina asked.
Blind cautiously put his feet on the staircase that led to the balcony that overlooked the entire building. "Up here!" Blind said and he took her arm. "There is something I want you to tell me..."
