Erika's eyes darted between Mina, her target, and Maxine Electra, her absolute boss, and Mina was sure her brain was in absolute vapor lock. Maxine towered over them, and even on heels, she was a giant woman, both in height and in stature.
The normally snooty Erika grinned nervously like she had malfunctioned. Mina just stood there amused, knowing the assistant had screwed up big time.
At last, Maxine took deep breath from her wide mouth. "I like to draw things about for dramatic tension," she said. "Makes you realize who wears the pants suit here."
Maxine grinned and placed one of her massive mits on Erika's head. "Erika, what have I told you about acting snooty in front of guests?"
Erika continued to grin nervously. "Um...that it's snotty?" she managed to lisp through her jaw.
"Yes," Maxine said, "And you sound like an elderly crumpet eating strumpet."
Mina wanted so badly to bring up a gif of a crowd of bros screaming "ohhhhhhhhh!" but instead, she merely nodded in agreement with Maxine.
Maxine tilted her head with a sinister smirk behind her bright-red glasses. They flashed deviously as she did. "Now...Erika," Maxine said, boisterously. "Get me my file."
"Er...ummm..." Erika Wattson murmured. "File on who?"
Maxine held out one of her nicely manicured paws. "The file on my nails. I do believe they are getting a bit long. As is your bottom."

Mina kept wanting to scream, "Oh snap," and throw her hands down, but Electra was doing all the work for her. She had become the face of Queen Karma in human form.
Instead, she patiently waited as Electra's assistant began to file Electra's yellow and green painted nails with a sorry look on her face.
Mina was even starting to feel sorry as Erika had become a makeshift manicurist. She raised her voice to protest, but Maxine cut her off. "You're still here?"
Mina double blinked. "What the huh? I'm here for an intervie..."
The business maven shook her head. "We're ...and more importantly, I, am not interested."
Mina's button nose wrinkled and she nearly dropped her papers all over the floor. "Buh...buh...but...."
"Sorry," Maxine said, coldly. "Not interested."
She lifted her massive hand which had now been toiled on by poor Erika Wattson. "That s'all..."
Mina swallowed so hard she was sure she gulped down her pride too. "That's all?!" she exclaimed. "How can you just casually dismiss someone with two words. What about my credentials? What if I had something that could potentially revolutionize your company?"
Maxine lowered her ruby red eyeglasses. "No dear. I didn't say 'that's all, I said 'thats Saul!'"
She pointed to middle aged blond man dressed in an electric yellow bell hops outfit. Maxine placed her hand on his shoulder. "He is my door man, and he was going to make sure the door doesn't hit a pathetic welp like you on the way out!"
Saul grinned brightly as he stepped forward, his hands on his hips. This must've been his favorite part of the job.
"But," Maxine said with a chuckle. "Because you were rude and screamed at me, I want to interview for some reason."
"What the whaaaaaaaaaa!" Mina (and Erika...and Saul) all screamed.
Mina couldn't believe her luck. Or was it her misfortune? Now she had a chance at working at the work company in all of America. Sometimes it paid to be a jerkhead.
As Erika glared daggers at Mina, Electra beckoned her to her office. "Right this way," she said.
This was it. No going back. She was about to enter her arch enemies inner sanctum!
