"What?" Blind said, taking a step back with his hand to his mouth. "What do you mean?"

The Frenchman ran his hand through Blind's luxurious hair. "Gorgeous brunette locks!"

"What the hell are you doing with those greasy hands?" Blind snapped. "I had just gotten that moisturized!"

Todd grinned happily. "And very caustic, yet prissy attitude! A true mecha-sexual like Christian was! You are, 'ow you say, 'magnificent for zee role of Lad-Bot!"

Blind was silent. Mina knew him so well, he'd have a sarcastic remark in seconds to lash this goofy French optimist.

"What do you say, Monsieur Cyborg?" Todd said, his hands pressed together. "Would you like to be zee replacement Lad-Bot for zee final scenes of this esteemed, movierama, the RoHuman Spectacle?!"

Mina expected the word, 'no.' But surprisingly, she heard the word 'yes' from Blind, accompanied by an uncharacteristically wide and goofy grin.

"I've always wanted to have my name up in lights!" William Justice said, displaying his shiny teeth. "Ever since the seventh grade, the glee club teacher said, "William, you are the straightest diva I know!" and he chose me for the lead role for Hamlet in Space! Mina's eyes widened and she was afraid they'd do somersaults in her head. "Blind is a closet thespian?" she gasped.

"Oh hohoho!" Todd laughed in his oh-so-french way. "Did you say you are classically trained?"

Blind flicked his hair and grinned. "I went to Preperoni Prep School as a lad. A ritzy boarding school that prepares the upper crust for actually doing something with their lives!"

Blind held his hands together. He was all smiles. "Very well, Todd. And my girlfriend, Mina will be your attorney!"

Blind walked over to Mina and took her by the shoulders. "We're gonna have a little couples chat, Mr. Le Matinee!"

Mina was so flabbergasted that her pale face turned bright red. She couldn't believe everything Blind was doing.

As he towered over her, she looked up at his visor. Her round angry face reflected off it back at her. "Excuse me, Mon-snore Cyborg," she said, ignore the puffy reflection. "I believe I get to pick my own cases. This Todd guy is already unnaturally happy and he was very quick to replace his long time partner!"

"Listen," Blind said, easing his girlfriend down. "I may be a closet thespian, but Todd has given me the perfect opening. I can investigate while acting in this film. I believe the word is 'undercover!'

"Oh..." Mina said, her mouth forming a circle. "I didn't think of it like that!"

"This is our first case together," Blind said with a smile. "And I believe I can be of assistance to you...and accomplish one of my lifelong goals while I'm at it."

Mina thought for a second. She playfully punched his broad chest. "Just be careful, okay. This is the definition of a hostile work environment."

"So...it's a deal?" Blind said. "I promise I will."

Mina nodded. "And I promise I will do my lawyer duty!"

Blind thrusted his hand forward to shake, and then shook his head. "Oh what am I doing?"

He leaned down and kissed Mina. She practically glowed at his affection. Together they were going to be a boyfriend-girlfriend legal dream team!
