Sunny Storms was silent, but there was stormy weather brewing in her eyes. "I...well...I...umm...whether that's true or not...I...aghhhh!"
Throwing a fit, the weather girl screamed loudly and slammed her umbrella on the podium.
Sev shoved her out off the podium. "This is what you get, Maxine, when you hire someone based on their looks to testify."
He brushed his greasy hair out of his face like he was a model. "Unlike me, I got hired for my ability. And my self-styling liquid hairdo."
Grease landed on the weather girl's skin. "Ugh...acid rain. I'm outta here."
Mina giggled as she left. "Don't storm out of the courtroom now, Sunny!"
Severe Severus fixed his gaze on Mina, her beady eyes glaring behind his greasy locks. He thrusted a pointed fingernail in her direction. "Good job, Not-Ashley. You uncovered something a child could figure out by simply watching the news. Yes, Maxine's company sponsors the news and gave them new weather systems. What's wrong with a little greasing their palms?"
"Umm..." Mina muttered with her finger to her lip. "When they're as greasy as yours, they don't need anymore grease."
Surprisingly, a few people chuckled at Mina's mom joke. She wasn't even 19 and she had the humor of a mother who shopped at Hohl's.
Severus however, spat like an enraged donkey. "Bubble brain. You can't defeat my defense attorney expertise by picking on me like every girl in high school."
He shook his head. "Go 'head. Prove anything beyond the fact that Electra sponsors the news. I double dog dare you!"
Mina reached in her pocket again, searching for her phantom phone. Had she dropped it somewhere. She pointed hesitantly towards the court door "Umm...i can prove it. I just need my phone."

Divine adjusted her ruby-red glasses. "And where is your phone, Miss Hawkins?"
Mina crossed her arms and pointed in two directions. "I uh...dunno."
Divine sighed. "I'm sorry. Even if you end up being my future granddaughter in law, I can't just let you leave. Especially if you don't know where your phone is. It's only been fifteen minutes and I can't call recess."
Sev cackled hard, sounding like someone strangling a mule. "Like most teenage girls, you're completely useless without your phone."
Mina rolled her eyes. "Deep-seated complex against women much?"
Sev nodded. "My therapist needed a therapist after he was through with me. Now give it up. You can't win!"
"Or can she?!!!!"
A squawky and over-the-top voiced announced from the doorway. Mina rubbed her eyes for she couldn't believe the sight. Mayor Ivor Ebony had appeared, clutching her phone.
But not only that, he was dressed in a shiny purple tuxedo, his signature bushy hair was piled high and...a brain with wings pin was on his lapel. It was the long-forgotten Bird Brains insignia.
"Mayor Ebony?!" Mina and Divine both exclaimed.
The suave and foppish man placed a white glove in his cheek. "That's defense attorney Raven Lockwood baby!"
Mina wasn't attracted to her mentor, but she wanted to swoon anyway. "We are SO back!" she exclaimed clasping her hands.
"Like the dawn," Raven said as he strutted down the aisle with John Swagvolta moves. "It's always the darkest before I show up and brighten the room with my fiery sexuality!"
Maxine's face looked like it had become unbolted from the amount of slowtox that had nailed it together.
"Look on this phone I conveniently found in the parking lot ma'am! There's some hot damning evidence on there!""
"Hold it!" Mina shouted, her cheeks turning bright red. "You know my phone password?"
Raven chuckled. "You're as transparent as your pasty face kid. It's obviously just 'Ninja Kitty is awesome'!"
"Yesh..." Mina lisped. "He knows me too well!"
"Also ya might want to change the password, kid. Now that everyone in tri-state area knows it!"
Mina nodded again.
Normally, she'd be so embarrassed, but Raven had not only become Raven again (how was beyond her...) but he also straight-up solved the case.
The Zeus-inator and the angle it could zap from was snapped on her phone. She had sent it to Ashley, but of course, she still had the original photos.
Upon looking at her phone, the sassy judge lifted her eyes to the courtroom. "This changes everything," she said.
