Standing before Mina was the most imposing building she had ever seen in her short life. And to make matters worse, she had to enter it...with a fake ID.
The lightning-white Empire Electra Building was the tallest in Business Park and often gave its lesser known brother, the Empire State Building, a run for its height. It had an enormous shiny yellow dome on the top and an erected lightning rod that tickled the lower hemisphere. The Electra logo was even gaudier. A lightning bolt with a stiletto high heel and blood red lipstick. The neon sign read, "Electra Company, anything you can plug in!"
Mina hoped that through her re-volt, they would be able to unplug that light pollution causing sign once this was all over.
Her long blonde hair swayed back and forth as she walked on matching heels of equal yellow. She sported a grey and yellow business suit and had bought the most cheesy thunderbolt shaped earrings to hopefully drive home the ensemble that she belonged in this electric blonde driven business.
She was professional in her manner..or at least trying to be.
Her fake ID read, Andy Zapps. Zapps was a fresh college graduate looking into an internship with virtually anyone who'd take her. Even a megalomaniac murderous business maven who bought half the country. She also practiced raising her voice in a ditzy manner and rolling her eyes and giggling over literally anything that was vaguely silly. Thankfully, Victoria Electra had 18 years of practice being a literal example of this and was quite happy to pass it on to a converted blonde.
Mina clicked up the steps to the building and approached the sliding electric doors. "Gee," Mina remarked with a vapid giggle. " They really know how to do the electric slide!"

As she stepped into the empire building, and stepped along the eye-burning lemon-lime colored floors, the first thing she noticed was the massive statue of Maxine Electra erected in the center. As she walked passed it, a voice recording activated. "Fun fact of the day and it's a real shocker:" a suave female voice said. "Did you know, famed billionaire, Maxine Electra drinks gallons of her own sports beverage everyday? She truly runs on Electra-Lytes!"
"Great," Mina said, rolling her eyes for the first time today "Product placement and a cheesy pun, all rolled into one."
Passing the statue, she stepped onto a moving platform that carried everyone from the entrance to their place of work. Not surprisingly, a majority of the people were either business platinum blondes like Maxine herself or reeked of peroxide in an attempt to dye their hair follicles into the company. Mina was the latter, but she prayed she came off as the former.
When she eached the end of the platform, Mina stumbled into the main lobby. Her eyes expanded wide like saucers. It had to be the size of a planetarium with hundreds of electronic billboards that showcased the companies stocks in 47 countries. Up above in gaudy neon letters was yet another cheesy pun. "The Shock Market."
Mina braced herself. There was going to be ton of electric pun-ishment in this company. Probably even more than an electric chair. Deciding it was best to just head to the front desk, (or rather the first open desk she could see) Mina approached a secretary dressed in a grey business suit and matching hat. She had bright white-blonde hair curled in a short page boy's hairdo. She wore a chipper grin that may or may not have been spotted on by an overdose of caffeine or Electra-lytes. Mina took a deep breath.
"Like excuse me, Miss Secretary Ma'am miss!" she said in a nasal and quite non-plussed valley girl voice. "Do you know how I can schedule an interview with Ms. Electra? I am like looking to apply for an internship so my college degree looks less worthless."
The secretary squinted her eyes. The great big grin disappeared from her face after looking over Mina's attire.
Mina's face got hot. Steaming actually. What exactly was going on here? Why was she being scrutinized so heavily? Did Vicki miss a spot on her blonde dye job.
The secretary spoke in a high pitched but serious voice. "I'm sorry," she said. "But you are under arrest."
