The two masked men, looking like Thunder troopers from Galaxy Wars were ready to kill in the name of the Aura. "You're going back in the basement," one of them said through a scary vocoder.
Winona and Trudy both glanced at each other. The only thing between them and the Aura soldiers was the bed with a snoozing Raven on it.
"Whuh...whuh do we do!" Trudy sobbed. "I don't want to go back in the basement. I'm starving enough as it is!"
Winona had a brave face on. She curled her pale hands into a fist. "As much as I'm a glutton for punishment on those torture devices, I'm afraid we must keep our promise to Mina."
"How can we do that?" Trudy said. "They have guns and we have a comatose eccentric lying on a bed. I think they win!"
Winona gave a dark laugh. "Even comatose eccentrics make good weapons when you know how to use them."
She placed her hands on the bed, Trudy noticed how easily it moved. She gasped. There were wheels on this bed.
"Alright," Winona said, gritting her teeth. "A thing you must know about us goths is we're rather devil may care! Especially in situations when it comes to death!"
The two guards looked at each nervously, unsure of where this goth girl's bravado was coming from.
Winona laughed boldly. "Apparently we goths are all descended from an ancient civilization that was also called The Goths. And I don't know much about them, but I bet they conquered some fools just like we're about to conquer you two!"

Without warning, Winona and Trudy shoved the bed straight into the two guards, bowling them over in a perfect strike.
With extra strength, Winona and Trudy charged out into the hallway with the bed in full motion. "Alright Trudy!" Winona warned. "Hop on! It's gonna be a bumpy ride!"
Winona and Trudy leaped onto Raven and Devillia's bed as it started to roll down the stairs. Trudy screamed for dear life. "Oh mummy! I'm gonna lose my lunch. Or at least I would if I ate lunch! I'm hungry...and sick!"
Winona giggled.
For her, goths always found life so much more exciting when you were on the cusp of death and grievous injury. And as they crashed through the posh front door, shattering the crystal and glass and knocking it off its hinges, she knew death and danger were the only routine stops on their makeshift train's agenda.
They soon found the driveway was sloped. And as they rolled all the way down the driveway, they found the neighborhood was sloped too!
Soon, they were rolling at high speeds through the neighborhood hills which were built like the streets of San Francisco.
"Why do we have to live in California!" Trudy screamed. "Why couldn't we live in Kansas where the roads are flat for miles!"
But Winona grinned with her tongue hanging out. She was enjoying this rush and near death experience. It was like being on a rollercoaster where you could actually die!
They were coming up on an intersection. And to make matters worse, the lights were green!
"Winona!" Trudy shouted. "If I die, I'm going to get Mina to sue you!"
Winona chuckled. "If we're both dead, you'll never be able to reach me, girl. You'll be in heaven and I'll be in hell!"
Trudy sighed. "Maybe there's some five star restaurants in heaven at least. Some real soul food."
The girls screamed as they narrowly avoided an incoming truck of lard. The driver screamed at them. "Hey you dumb girls. Learn how to drive your mattress!"
After both girls nearly had panic attacks from that near brush with death, Raven let out a loud snore. "Gee," Trudy muttered. "He'll sleep through anything! What's at the bottom of this street anyway?"
"Hmm," Winona said. "If I do remember correctly, I think it's the courthouse!"
Trudy held her hands to her face. "Oh my guh! Do you think Mina's on trial?!"
Winona looked wistfully into the next oncoming intersection. "Okay, for once. I hope we don't actually die and we make it there on time!"
