Volume 6.5 Chapter 61: I can Improve It
During class, Keith and the rest listened to Aidiun's lecture. It was quite a regular sight to see the group like this together. But there was one person who looked aimlessly. It was not Herrick and Melor; it was Keith. That caught Aidiun's attention,
"Student Keith, is something the matter?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Sorry about that." Keith shook his head. Usually, the man would be attentive. So why would he be acting like this?
"Alright, but pay more attention." Aidiun went back to his lecture. As he did, a paper was slid to Keith. Opening it up,
Is something the matter? Keith looked at Alfia, who had a concerned expression. She was a little surprised by how absentminded he was.
Keith wrote something on the paper and slid it right back. Alfia looked down.
Nothing's the matter. Just thinking about some things.
That caused Alfia to scribble something and slide right back to Keith. Looking down,
Thinking about some things is a matter? Keith chuckled. She was right. However, he shook his head. The two continued to slide letters with one another. After some time,
"Keith, what was the matter?" During lunch, Carolyn and others joined the fray. The rare Keith spacing out moment is quite the sight.
Tristan, Maria, and Licht stared at him, ganging up on Keith.
"Oh, it's nothing." I shouldn't tell them about it. Looking away, the best thing to do was avoid eye contact. That just made the others more curious as to what he thought about.
"Spill, Keith." "What could it be?"
Herrick and Melor were straightforward as they grabbed Keith's shoulders.
"It's nothing." Those words caused a shaking of no tomorrow!
"Now, now." Gabriel grabbed the two's shoulders, "We're not going to go anywhere with this."
Everyone paused. Gabriel added, "If he's being this secretive about this, it has to be something important and significant...like food?"
"?!" Keith's head cocked left at Gabriel, and his eyes widened. How did you guess that out?!
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"That's because Carolyn always talks about your different expressions. And when you have this expression, it usually means food." Gabriel got an idea of what the man thought about.
"..." Mentioning food was quite deadly. The atmosphere dropped as Melor and Herrick grabbed his shoulder tighter.
"Keith, what are you planning to make this time?"
"Yeah!" The others wanted to figure it out now. Whatever it was, it was going to be delicious!
"....Um, can I not say?"
"No!" There was no use trying to hide it now!
Figures. Keith sighed deeply, "I'm not planning to cook anything new. Rather, it's an improvement."
"An improvement?"
"Improvement on what?" Most of his dishes were incredible enough. What was there to improve on?
"... it's meat."
When he said this, the meat lovers' expression dilated out of this world! Herrick, meat lover #1, questioned, "How? All the meat you cook is tasty enough." There was something really wrong. The meat Keith cooked was to perfection!
"No, I've been doing the norm with seasoning the meat. I can make it three times more delicious-and I just realized I shouldn't have said that." Regret. Just regret as he said the last thing
"Three times?!" Herrick was dazed. Three times more delicious? How was this possible?
"Keith! What do you need?! We can get it for you!" "Yeah!"
"Uh, I'm not planning to do anything soon." Keith didn't want to start it right now. However, Herrick and the others thought otherwise,
"When you say something like that, we must start it!"
"Yeah! You can't just drop something like that and expect nothing!"
"That's Gabriel's fault! Blame him!" How was this his fault?!
"You dropped something like that and expected us not to do anything?" Tristan laughed. Who was he kidding?
"Like I said, I'm not doing anything any time soon. Keith got up and dashed off. Those eyes told him they were going to be persistent. Also, he needed to meet up with the seniors.
But little did he know that something was going down.
"So, we're not going to allow this, right?" An evil grin formed on Jack's face as he was prepared. Herrick and Melor also did the same thing. These big devils were going to be the death of Keith.
"What do we think we should do? Beg him? Annoy him? Or place writing all over the place so he could see?"
"..." You guys are messed up.
"Now, now. You guys don't need to do this." Tristan waved his hand. But his following words were, "You just need to bring all the adults in and annoy him together."
Tristan?!
The only thing anyone could see was the meat in his eyes. Well, everyone had meat in their eyes.
"I'll go tell Professor Aidiun about it!" Alfia didn't wait as she dashed off,
"I'll go tell the principal!" Herrick did the same. If Cadmus heard about this, everything would have been smoother.
"..." Everyone has a one-track mind. Licht could only shake his head at this sight.
"Achoo!" Little did he know the plan was coming into motion.
"Are you cold, Keith?" Angelica and Sakura stared at him. But Keith shook his head, "Nothing. I'm doing just fine."
"That's good. But this dragator meat is so delicious!" "Indeed."
"Thank you."
