Volume 6 Chapter 78: I’m Excited
Keith was surrounded by a bunch of flowers.
"And you will only be surrounded by beauties during the expedition as well! You lucky dog!" Groa draped his arm around Keith's neck. Morgan's party was a female-only group. Keith was going to be the only male there!
"Huh? That's not my fault." Keith shook his head. It was either choosing the person who didn't like him or the friendly one. He decided on the friendly one. That was a no-brainer!
"So you're the kid Groa keeps talking about?" Keith looked over. Huge! He thought Groa was huge, but this guy was twice the size! A walking great wall! That was the best way to describe him!
"Keith, this is the leader of my party, Craig."
"Pleasure to meet you," Craig raised his hand. Keith did the same with a smile, "Likewise."
"Do you know where Titus is? All of us are here, yet the leader hasn't arrived?"
"Relax, I'm here." Titus came down with a calm expression. He smiled, "Since everyone is here now, let's go. The carriages are ready."
"Understood!" Everyone nodded as they set off. It was a straightforward journey. Let the carriage take them to the dungeon and they take over from there. However,
"Shakti, can you not stay so close to me?" Keith sighed.
"Is it bad that I'm sitting so close?"
Not bad. But you are sitting awfully close. It wasn't a sit-near-and-have-fun situation. It was the I'm going to sit right next to you and not give a centimeter of space.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Shakti grinned, "We need to build team spirit! After all, you are an honorary member of White Lily until we finish this dungeon!"
I understand, but this is way too close. It didn't help Keith that she wasn't wearing any armor.
Morgan sighed, "Shakti, stop annoying the child."
"Fiinnee!" Shakti moved away from him. Keith took a deep sigh of relief. I don't think I could stay like that for three hours. To get to the dungeon, it would take them three hours.
"And Groa, can you not glare at me like that?!" Groa was glaring at him like no tomorrow!
"Shakti, why don't you do that to us?!" "Because you guys aren't cute enough."
It was a frank and direct answer. While Groa was crying on the sidelines, Morgan asked Keith, "Keith, how are you feeling right now?" The others had been going on dungeon exploration for some time. This one would be Keith's first time.
"Excited to be honest." "Eh?" That eh wasn't from Morgan but from the rest of the adventurers as well.
"Is it weird?" Keith tilted his head. Titus shook his head, "It isn't weird, per se. But usually, one would be nervous." Trying something for the first time would always cause a person to have jitters.
"Why do you feel excited?" Titus was intrigued.
“Because I get to explore something that no one has gone to before. I get to see new things because of that.” If Keith said he wasn't nervous, he would be lying. However, overshadowing it was his excitement.
"I see." Morgan didn't say anything but shifted over to Titus and whispered, "Is he a battle junkie?"
"Probably? We really have to find out." Every word that came out of Keith's words labeled him as a crazed fighter.
"I'm not a battle junkie!" Keith's cheeks turned red. He was different from Herrick and Melor, who wanted to fight 24/7. He was excited about the challenge and the ingredients he would find in the dungeon.
"We have arrived, Everyone!" The coachman called out to the group. Keith looked out and saw a dungeon. That made him intrigued.
Contrary to the usual dungeon, which was a cave opening, this one was a giant staircase. Keith turned to Groa, "That's a dungeon?"
"Mmhmm. Oh, you've probably never seen something like this before. Sometimes, some dungeons are stuck in the ground."
"I see." Keith nodded as he followed Titus and the group down the stairs. And what they saw was a giant waiting room. It was a place where no monsters would spawn. Everyone turned to Titus, awaiting his order.
