Volume 6 Chapter 68: Is Keith Freed Here?
"What did you just say?!" Keith held his ears as he pulled away from everyone.
"Can you guys not scream into my ear like that every time?" Why does everyone do that? He was surrounded by everyone once again. It wasn't like an interrogation—it was more like questioning—but it soon changed into one because their expressions said it all.
"I don't get it. Why did you reject both of them?" Jack needed answers to this. Keith didn't reject one; he refused both. If anyone heard this, they would end him!
Faelyn added, "Keith, you know joining either would be an honor, right?" Having the reputation was incredible. Only the cream of the crop could join, which was not surprising. Seeing how the students made way for them showed how much power they had. Those students held their heads up with pride.
"Kinda don't care about that." Pride and honor were something Keith had long thrown out the window.
"But it would have been great if you actually joined. No one would have messed with you." Gabriel chuckled. One of Keith's issues was that students kept giving him a dirty look. Joining them would solve it. Those guys wouldn't dare to do anything to Keith.
"True. But if I did join, I would have to follow their rules. I'm kind of not a follower." Even as Luis, Keith had never been a rule follower. He followed some, but he had always gone his way, and that was that.
"True."
"How could you reject Senior Angelica and Sakura?" Jack sighed. But that caused Keith to groan, "Don't remind me."
"What do you mean?"
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
"Both of them are really stubborn."
"Eh?" Jack and the rest needed more clarification. What do you mean about them being stubborn?
"They said they couldn't give up on me and would try their best to get me to join."
"...Are you kidding me?" "No, I'm not."
Keith shook his head. Both said the exact words. And there was no need to say anything about how serious they were. That determined gaze answered his question. Just the thought was enough to cause him to shiver.
"...But why do I feel so sinful as well?" There was a feeling of guilt when he heard them say it.
"That's because you are guilty!" Herrick and the others grabbed him by the collar. This guy! How could he not see it?! But as they talked, two people had dark expressions.
"Carolyn, Alfia, what's the matter?" Arlo noticed the two's expressions.
"Nothing." The two girls commented as they looked away from Keith, who was being attacked by the others.
"I just hope that nothing bad happens," Keith muttered.
...
I was so wrong! Keith wanted to cry, and that was because of the two people standing in front of him!
"Sakura, are you asking my junior to eat lunch with you?" "Mmhmm. But why is he your junior?"
The two of them stared at one another with a light look. BUT IT WAS ANYTHING BUT THAT!
For the rest, they were looking at a tiger and dragon facing off against one another. A few minutes before everything,
"Keith, can we go to lunch?" Herrick groaned. Class ended, and he wanted to leave.
"Yeah, we could." Keith nodded. But before they could move,
"Is student Keith here?" A clear voice questioned. Everyone was surprised to see who it was. The person who called out was none other than Angelica!
"Senior Ange?!" This was a shock! Upperclassmen wouldn't come to the lower classes to meet up. Spotting Keith, Ange's expression brightened as she walked over,
"Good, you're here."
"What's the matter, Senior?" Keith asked.
"Let's go have lunch together." Ange grinned. That caused everyone to freeze. The student council president wanted to have lunch with the representative?!
Keith was going to answer her, "Is Keith Freed here?!"
"Is Keith Freed here?" Another opponent entered the field.
