Volume 6 Chapter 84: Banquet
"Is everyone ready?" Alfia looked at everyone. They were not dressed in their usual uniform. Instead, they wore formal attire, a stark contrast to their usual comfort. Gabriel and Jack couldn't hide their unease. Jack sighed,
"Can't believe I'm wearing this again." He thought wearing the suit was a one-time thing once a year.
"I think we'll be doing this for quite some time." Gabriel sighed. While the two talked, a frown formed on Alfia's face,
"Would you stop moving your collar like that?!" On the side was Herrick, who messed around with his collar. He had been doing that for the last five minutes. He groaned,
"I always hate these stupid uniforms." Herrick wore the formal attire of the beastmen kingdom.
"You're going to rip it if you keep doing that." Alfia shook her head. This guy was like a wild animal clawing its collar.
"Tell me again, why must we wear this?" Melor frowned, dressed in a suit.
Sarah sighed, "Because we're going to a party. This means we have to go in formal attire." The group was going to the party invited by the student council and disciplinary committee.
"Tch!"
"All of us have to go. Especially you two." Alfia warned. These two couldn't escape, no matter how hard they tried. They were the princes of two major races. And they couldn't run with their reputation. Having them disappear was asking for trouble.
"I know." Herrick shook his head. Even if he didn't like it, he would still have to go. People would be asking questions if he didn't.
"Good." Alfia sighed in relief. Why do I have to watch over these two? Somehow, it became her job to monitor them.

"Your dress is gorgeous, Alfia." Sarah was wearing an orange dress this time. But the ones who were eye-catching were Alfia and Faelyn. Alfia was dressed in a beautiful elven dress. It only heightened her beauty.
"But Faelyn, are you sure you don't want to wear one too?" Faelyn didn't wear a dress. She was in an elven suit.
"Princess, I'm your guard. So I will dress to protect you. A dress will only hinder my movements."
There's no need for protection. Alfia held her head.
"Now, we should go meet up with Carolyn." Like that, the group walked out of the island. And Carolyn was standing on the side, waiting for all of them. And she was there with Tristan, Maria, and Licht.
"Alfia, you look so beautiful." Licht smiled as he stared at his sister. Alfia smiled, "You look handsome as well, brother." Licht wore the same uniform as Faelyn. But the aura the two had was vastly different from one another.
"You look good in your dress." Alfia turned to Carolyn. She was dressed in the same clothing as the party.
"Thank you. Let's head to the building now." Everyone entered the gate. All of them were now on an island.
"This will be the first time you guys will be here." It was none other than the student council and disciplinary committee's island.
"Is it really alright to have them on the same island?" Jack questioned. Aren't those two enemies? Why would they place them together like that? That was asking for a showdown!
"It's fine, I think. I don't think either would want to cause any trouble here." When the group entered the building, they saw a luxurious venue.
"All of our students are here." Looking around, they spotted some familiar faces. Scarlet and Chelan were talking with some demon kin and merfolk.
"This looks so different from recruitment." Gabriel laughed. One day, they were acting like ravenous beasts. However, they were now acting like people.
That alone shocked some of the 1st year. The change was too drastic for their brains to process.
"It seems some are joining," Tristan stated as he noticed some students shaking hands with their upperclassmen. Tristan cracked his neck, "Well, I'm going to go and try to recruit some kids!" He didn't come here only to talk with them. It was time to hunt.
"Same!" Licht didn't wait as the two dashed off. Alfia and Carolyn looked at one another before sighing.
Maria shook her head, "Well, I don't need to do that. I'm going to stay with you guys."
"That's good." Having Maria here would block some of the students.
"Everyone is forming their own cliques," Herrick muttered as he looked around. Scarlet was in a clique with the demon-kin, while Chelan was in one with the merfolk.
"But that looks more like a kingdom." Faelyn frowned.
