Volume 5 Chapter 19: To The Dungeon

"..." Carolyn gulped as she turned to Keith, who sat down in his seat. He was so calm and composed. That calmness was scary. Carolyn quickly sat beside Keith,

"Keith, I was only messing around."

"..." The only thing she got in return was a smile. A natural, beautiful smile. That smile made Carolyn gulp. What does he have on me?! The two knew each other for so long. Of course, they would know each other too well!

And she did a lot of embarrassing things as well!

"Keith," "Alright, let's begin class!" But Carolyn couldn't reason with him as Aidiun entered the class.

Nooooo!!!! Carolyn wanted to cry.

Like that, class started like any ordinary day. But there was something different. That was because Keith's circle became larger. That was because Faelyn and Alfia sat around Keith.

It was an interesting sight. Once class was over,

"Keith, are you going to open your cart today?" Alfia asked.

"Mmhmm."

"That's great. Faelyn is eager to try it again."

"Princess!" Faelyn's cheeks turned red.

"Thank you for liking it," Keith smiled, "I'll open it at the usual time. Just come and order."

"Understood."

"Also, Tristan and Maria want to get something to eat from there." Carolyn tugged on his sleeves. Her expression was meek. After hearing what Gabriel said, she tried her best to get on Keith's good side.

Keith sighed as he patted Carolyn's head, "The more, the merrier." He was only messing with her.

Carolyn picked up on Keith's mood as her expression brightened, "Yay! Then I'm going to order as much as possible!"

"Piggy." Keith pinched her cheeks.

...

"The boss is back!" True to his words, Keith rolled the cart to the location. The moment Keith set up the cart, the line formed!

"One order of chicken and onion!"

"I want an order of steak!"

"Alright!" Keith smiled as he got to work. While he did that, he saw some familiar faces.

"Hello, Tristan!" Tristan came with Maria and Carolyn.

"Heyo. It seemed you're really busy." Tristan was surprised by the line. He thought a lot of people would come here. But this was a lot!

He didn't think he would wait so long!

"Well, today is a short day." Keith laughed. This was actually the better day. Some days took a lot longer.

"What do you want to order?"

"I will get steak."

"I want the vegetable one."

"What do you want, Carolyn?" Keith turned to the girl,

"I want everything."

"....Alright." Keith sighed as he started to get to work. While he did that,

"I want something new."

Keith's ears twitched when he heard that. A new item? Now that the person mentioned it, should he add more items? He had been going with these items for quite some time.

It may be time to add something new into the mix. A grin formed on Keith's face as he thought about it. But while he grinned like that,

"What's with the boss's look?"

"He looks so menacing."

"Is he going to battle?!"

Carolyn sighed. Keith's expression was something. She was the only person who knew what Keith was thinking.

...

"I'm going to add new items to the menu!" Keith stated. There was a meeting in the dining room. Carolyn and the rest's expressions brightened when they heard that.

The only two who were confused were Herrick and Nephele. They were out of the loop.

"That's why I'm leaving." "Where are you going?"

"To the guild. I need to find some interesting ingredients I can use." Keith was excited.

"I see."

"Also, I won't be back for a few days."

"Eh?" Their eyes widened when they heard that. Gabriel suggested, "Do you want me to go with you?"

"No, I will be fine if I remove my bracelets." He would also have Mir and the other Samui to back him up.

"Alright, I'm going to pack up!" Keith smiled and walked away with a hum. But while he hummed, the others tilted their head,

"Quick question. Who's going to make dinner for us?"

"..." Now that they mentioned it...

"Well, then! I'm off!" Keith smiled as he dashed out of the mansion with lightning speed, as he didn't want to miss out on anything!
