Volume 6 Chapter 89: I Want The Meat
"Okay, go for it." That confident gaze. Seeing it, Titus felt Keith had something up his sleeve. Titus turned to Morgan, "Morgan, get ready to fire your magic on my signal." The moment Keith hindered the monster's movement, it was Morgan's turn to fire.
"..." Morgan continued to chant, signaling to him she understood their objective.
"Hey! If you're doing something, do it now! It's coming our way!" Craig called out. The dragator wanted to blow through them. It took a few steps back, charging up!
Think of the trajectory. Keith calmly stared at the rolling bowling ball coming their way. Its speed was increasing. The beast was circling around the group, trying to pick up velocity!
Now! Keith quickly made a launch pad. The dragator king rolled up and was sent flying into the air, flying over them. But that wasn't the end. Keith created railings for the ball, guiding it into a hole.
"Do it now!" That was the cue!
"Aqua repuls! Morgan and the other mages fired off their magic at the dragator! A giant explosion soon covered the entire boss room!
Keith quickly covered his eyes, trying to block the giant flash. It lasted a few seconds before he glanced at the area. He was amazed.
"Damn." The dragator was toasted and shredded all over its body.
"Don't ever get on Morgan's bad side. She's really close to hitting S-rank as well." Titus whispered to Keith.
"Understood." Keith nodded.

"We have defeated the boss!" The others cheered. All the dragators were defeated as well. Titus nodded as he walked up to Craig, "Craig, how are the wounded?"
"Some are bruised. But most of it is flesh wounds. There's nothing to worry about."
Titus nodded, "We can rest here for a bit before we move out." The boss wasn't going to respawn any time soon.
"Now then, we should deal with that," Galven muttered. What he talked about was the rewards. Everyone's eyes were locked onto the treasure chest floating in the dungeon's center.
"Let's see what's inside." Titus was the one who opened the chest. And the other leader's eyes changed when they saw what was inside!
It was different from the equipment Keith got from Cadmus. What was in there were a bunch of rocks and other materials.
"Adamantite!" "There's a stalk from a treant!" "Check out the fang! It's so pristine!"
"Okay, everyone. We need to separate this evenly." Titus frowned. This isn't good. There were four A-rank parties here. Usually, the loot would be split evenly. That way, there wouldn't be any discourse. If two groups wanted the same thing, they would pay the other group for it.
But that was not what he was worried about. The problem was Keith. Keith added a hiccup to the mix. Moreover, he did a lot of work to defeat the dragator king. He hindered the dragators' movements, allowing the rest to go in for the kill!
That made it more challenging to split up the loot. What should I do? One person would get the short end of the stick!
"Ahh, I don't want anything from the chest." Keith raised his hand.
"Eh?!" Titus and the other leaders were surprised he would say that. Galven frowned, "You were the one who did most of the work to deal with the king."
"It was a team effort on that." Keith hindered the movements. But Morgan was the one who dealt the final blow to the beast.
"But I do want something." "Hmm, what do you want?"
"I want some of the meat from the big one and some of the bodies of the small ones. I feel like I could make something delicious with it." The dragator steak he had before was delicious. But why stop there? He got the feeling he could make something more appetizing with it!
"I see." Titus smiled as he looked at the other three, "Are you guys fine with that?"
"Mmhmm." The three nodded. There was nothing to say about that.
"Alright! Then I'm going to take them then!" Keith waddled off without even saying anything. Just having some of the corpses was enough.
