Volume 6 Chapter 23: Heading To The Dungeon Together

During the entire dinner, Herrick and Alfia spaced out like no tomorrow. Keith ignored it as he continued to eat his meal. The others couldn't say anything either. When Keith said his words, those cuffs did build up their cooperation. They now had an understanding with one another.

Once they finished, Keith looked at the information on the dungeons. Each one had a different style going for them. As he continued to glance through them,

"Keith, are you heading into a dungeon again?" Herrick questioned. He was the faster of the two to get out of the funk.

"Mmhmm, I want to explore more."

"Can I come with you this time?" Herrick's eyes sparkled.

"Hmm? You want to come with me to the dungeon?"

"Mmhmm! I want to get more experience fighting against monsters. We don't know when they will make us explore another dungeon."

"I see." This will be a good experience for him. Fighting against people versus fighting against monsters were different matters. Herrick would need to practice.

"Sure. You can come with me."

"Wait! I also want to join in if he's going with you!" Melor chimed in.

"Hmm? Does everyone want to go?" Keith looked at everyone. They were all staring at him.

"Sure. What Herrick said is right. We need the experience." Gabriel nodded.

"Indeed."

"Okay, then we'll all go to the dungeon. Is that fine with you, Professor Aidiun?"

"Sure. However, please don't skip a whole week of class." Last time, it was only Keith. But more than five people were going with him this time.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Understood." Keith chuckled, "Besides Alfia, everyone else needs to register as adventurers."

"Hmm?" They heard something odd.

"Princess, when did you register as an adventurer?" Alfia never once mentioned being an adventurer.

Alfia smirked, "When I trained with Keith, I registered as an adventurer. I'm C-rank."

"Hah? If you're C-rank, then I will be B-rank!"

"Like you could be B-rank," Alfia scoffed at the beastman. If Keith wasn't B-rank, there was no way he would be.

"Settle down. Also, I think we should schedule our dungeon exploration a few days later." Keith muttered.

"Hmm?"

"We need to get more weapons. And we might be there for at least 2 days; we need supplies to last that long." They couldn't enter the dungeon half-heartedly. They would be destroyed if they did.

"I see," The others nodded. They were in agreement. They would be leaving there a few days later.

...

"Madison, I need your assistance with some things." Keith returned to the guild the next day.

"Hmm? What do you need help on, Keith? Also, are those your friends?" Madison tilted her head. She met quite a few when she ate at Keith's cart.

"Ahh, they want to become adventurers." Keith smiled. The others nodded their head.

Madison brightened, "That's great. If you have your academy's identification card, please hand it to me."

"Understood." All of them handed their school ID over to her. Like that, she started to write all the information.

"I heard we can take a rank-up exam, right?" Herrick questioned.

"Yes. You can take it if you don't want to be a lower-rank adventurer."

"Alright! Who I'm fighting?!" Herrick was raring to go.

"Chill out." Keith smacked his head. This man was itching to punch someone.

"I'm assuming that Groa is here?" Groa had been staying at the guild for quite some time.

"Sorry. But he's not. He went out with his party to check up on some things."

"Oh, thank goodness." Keith sighed in relief. I would feel bad if he had to fight all of them.

"Did you bring in a couple of monsters?" Madison questioned.

"...Yes." Keith nodded. Groa would probably cry from fighting all of them.

"There aren't people here to do the skill test." Madison took a small sigh.

"Eh?"

"Most of the high-level adventurers went out."

"Come on!" Herrick and Melor grabbed their heads.

"Calm down." Alfia shook his head.

"If it's a rank-up exam, how about I do it?"
