Volume 6.5 Chapter 26: Cooking Storm

"You guys are here as well?" As they headed for the kitchen door, they spotted everyone else. Gabriel and the rest stared from the door.

"Shh!" "Don't make any noise!" Melor and Jack raised their fingers to shush them.

"What's going on?" Sarah lowered her voice. It seemed something was occurring inside the kitchen. It could only be one person. The three slowly peeked from the door. What they saw was incredible.

"Man is cooking up a storm!" What they saw was Keith working hard on their breakfast. They marveled at his work.

"We held him back, and he's releasing all that stress at once." That was the only way to describe it; a bottle that couldn't contain everything and was ready to burst forth. That was what Keith was.

"Look at him go. Is he planning to make up for the lost time?" Everyone blinked at Keith's work. This man already made twice the amount as before. And it seemed he wasn't stopping with that. It was an endless amount being produced.

"Who cares. We get to eat all of that!" Herrick scoffed. He saw the bigger picture. It didn't matter how much Keith was going to make. That just meant they could eat all of it!

"Indeed." "Yeah!" Melor and Jack nodded. Those two were prepared to eat all of that.

"..." Are you kidding me?

"If you guys don't want it, I can eat your share."

If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

"Don't you dare." Alfia scowled at him. No way was she going to let that happen. She was going to eat her fill as well! While that happened in the back, Keith had no idea as he continued to work.

After an hour,

"I guess I made too much today." Keith laughed as he stared at the table, filled to the brim with food. Each one was different from one another. There were hashbrowns, pancakes, and some pork belly. It was to the point where it could spill onto the ground.

"You really outdid yourself this time, Keith." Gabriel let out a chuckle. He watched Keith work, yet it was even more shocking to see all of this right before him.

"You don't have to worry about anything, Keith. We'll finish it up." Herrick raised his fork and knife.

"He's right, we have a lot of time. There's no need to worry about anything." Cadmus added as he rolled up his sleeves. There was no need to apologize for a blessing. All this food was going down his stomach!

Keith had started cooking early in the morning.

"I see." Keith sighed in relief as everyone started to eat. It was quite the sight as they ate.

"It's so much tastier than before!" "How could it be this good?!"

"Is it?" Keith tilted his head. Arlo quickly explained, "Mmhmm, Leader. I don't know what it is, but it tastes even better than the other meals."

"I think it's because it's not reheated." There was a different impact on freshly cooked meals and pre-heated ones. The taste of a hot and fresh food hits differently.

"I see." Keith smiled as he ate as well. But as he did, "Aria, you should eat more." He placed more meat for the owl to eat. She needed everything to recover her strength.

"Hoo." Aria made a little cry as she continued to eat. After some time,

"I can't do it." Alfia placed her fork down. She had a napkin in her mouth, trying her best to prevent an unbecoming scene of a princess. And she wasn't the only one as Faelyn looked at the ceiling.

"I'm full as well." Gabriel and Sarah stopped eating.

"I'm full, but I can't stop eating either." Jack was being weird as he ate and groaned at the same time. Food continued to enter his mouth.

"You're going to throw up." Sarah shook her head. How much of a fool could you be?

"I can't do it." "Ugh." "What's the matter, you two?" Cadmus looked at Herrick and Melor, whose faces were smacked down in their plate. They fainted from the food.

"Should I wrap this up for our lunch as well?"

"Please!' Everyone nodded. They were going to have a big lunch as well.

"What?! But I'm not done eating!" "Same!" Cadmus and Nephele were still going strong. That caused the rest to give them a look.

You monsters!

All of them wanted to say something to that. How could they be fine after eating all of that? What kind of absurdity was this?!

This made all of them furious and jealous.
