Volume 5 Chapter 49: New Menu Items

"...I don't know why, but I want to say this is not my fault," Keith muttered.

"This is your fault," Carolyn and Alfia retorted in unison. There was no way this was not his fault.

"...Forget I said anything," Keith looked away, not wanting to stare at them. Those eyes were deadly.

"Hahaha!" Everyone laughed.

"By the way, when will you open your cart?" Alfia was curious. Keith made her taste test a while ago. Now, the only thing left was to try it out.

"Oh, that's going to happen in a day or two," Keith answered.

"Then, should I bring some people over?" Herrick suggested.

"Sure,"

"..." When did he become so proactive? Who was this guy? Shouldn't he be focused on his plant?

"What? I want them to try Keith's food like I have," Herrick shrugged. His friends were curious about the food he bought. Since Keith cooked for everyone with the cart, they should try it out.

...

Keith cracked his back as he was ready to bring the cart out. When he was about to leave,

"Why can't I go?!" Nephele cried out.

Keith scratched his head. He saw Nephele grabbing the cart while Diana wrung her neck.

"Stop acting like a child!" Diana was about to explode again!

"But I want to go as well!"

"If we go, others will know about us!" Diana's eyes twitched. There was no way they could go there! Did this idiot forget they were great spirits? It would be a problem if two great spirits started to run around like fools!

"I can hide myself!"

"I'm not taking the chance! Now get off!" Diana continued to pull her off! However, Nephele wasn't budging at all! Why is she this strong at times like this?! There was something really wrong.

"Big sister Nephele, you can't cause problems for Keith!" Diana wasn't alone in the pulling. Fira and the other two spirits tried to tug her off.

Nephele pouted, "But I want to taste the soup!" That was the real reason she wanted to go with Keith!

"If you want to taste the soup, I made a batch in the kitchen," Keith planned for this. When Nephele heard that, her eyes brightened, and she dashed to the kitchen!

Diana was embarrassed, "I'm sorry about this, Keith."

"It's alright. I prepared that for all of you," Keith had prepared this in advance for all of them.

"You guys should get some before Nephele finishes it," Keith patted the little spirit's head.

"Woof!" "Kwak!" The two were excited. Fira quickly ordered, "Quickly! To the kitchen!" Like that, the three dashed to the kitchen.

"I'm off now!" Keith set off. As he headed to his usual location,

"Hey, kid!"

"Hello, Grandpa Cedric." Keith waved at one of his regulars. However, Cedric had a dark expression,

"Kid, where have you been?!"

"Ahh, I've been in the dungeon," Keith laughed.

"For two weeks?!"

"Oh, 1 week in the dungeon and 1 week of doing my own thing,"

"Are you trying to starve this old geezer to death?!"

"How are you an old geezer? You can probably survive a month without food," Keith shook his head. This guy doesn't look like an old geezer at all!

"And I have something great prepared for today,"

"Eh?" Something great. Cedric was confused but followed Keith as he headed to the location. Few customers lined up. It was to be expected. Because he had skipped the last few days, the customers couldn't wait and were unsure when he would open again.

Keith started to open the cart. When he did, the customers began to flock to him!

"He's opening the cart again!"

"The boss is here!"

"Everyone! I have three new items for my menu today!" Keith exclaimed. And when he said that, everyone was surprised. Cedric's eyes widened as he quickly got on line first!

"What are the new items?" Cedric asked,

"One of them is a new crepe using lamb and garlic sauce. The other two are soup options. One is a lamb soup, and the other is a pork-based soup."

"There are soup options?!"

"Incredible!"

"We need to get it!" Like that, the ordering started. The soup was a popular choice. When Keith opened the vat, the customers could smell the aroma!
