Volume 6 Chapter 70: Are You Going?
"No, don't be!" Keith quickly waved his hand, "I thought your food looked really delicious."
"Don't say anything. Your food looks ten times better than mine." There was no need for him to cheer her up. Keith's lunchbox was ten times better than hers!
"I always knew that Keith's cooking was more delicious than mine. But it's heaven and earth. My cooking is nothing more than dung." A dark aura started to surround Sakura.
Are you really that sad about my cooking being better than yours?! This was a surprise for Keith. Never did he expect Sakura to be depressed from this.
"Umm, Seniors, do you want to try my food?" Keith gestured. The way the two stared at his food gave him the idea that they were eager to try.
"Please," The two nodded. Keith summoned two forks. When they took a bite,
"Delicious." "So tender and sweet." Sakura and Angelica were in awe. This was especially so with Angelica. This was the first time she tried Keith's food.
"What's the matter, Senior Sakura?" Keith noticed the weird expression Sakura had.
"It's delicious. But when I think about the food we hunted a few days ago, it doesn't compare." When she remembered the tenderloin Keith cooked up, it made this one taste different.
"Ahh, but that one was made with crazy ingredients."
"WHSAT?!" Angelica asked Keith, "When did you guys eat something together?" This was news to her!
"Like a day or two ago? The two of us decided to go out and hunt some monsters." "I want to go as well!" Angelica felt like she had missed such a big opportunity. Keith chuckled,
"Sure. When we have the time."
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
"But it would be nothing compared to the variant we had," Sakura muttered.
"What?! You guys had a variant?!" It wasn't just any other meat! It was a variant!
"...I want to join you guys no matter what." Angelica knew what she had to do!
"Ahhm, but it was really delicious," Sakura muttered again.
"..." Angelica's eye twitched before something came out of her mouth, "Now that you mention food, I also did try some of Keith's cooking before."
"Eh? What did you try?"
"Those cookies Keith made were otherworldly. They were a taste that no one had tried before." Angelica had a lighthearted grin as she said this.
For some odd reason, the two glared at one another. That caused Keith to frown. I only made cookies. Why are you guys angry about cookies?
"How about I make some tea?" Keith suggested. He needed to break this out.
"You don't have to do it, Keith." Angelica waved her hand, "We brought you here, I should do it."
"No, it's fine." Keith summoned a pot and three cups and started to prepare the tea in front of them.
"Even your tea-making skills are amazing." "I know, right?"
Angelica had seen Keith's work in action before. And he was a professional.
"Here you are," Keith placed the tea before the two. Sakura sniffed at the tea and took a sip.
"It's more flavorful than what I had before." Just from sipping, she could taste a rich, bitter flavor. Besides that bitter flavor, she could taste something sweet.
"Did you add something to it?" When Keith placed the tea leaves into the pot, she saw some orange pieces mixed into it.
"Ahh, I added some orange slices to give it a citrus flavor. Do you like it?"
"Mmhmm, this is delicious." Sakura nodded as she continued to sip. Angelica sipped quietly as she tasted it before.
"By the way, Keith. Are you going to attend the party?"
"Party?" There was a party. When was this?
"There's a party for the freshmen to get to know the upperclassmen and their clubs better."
"But isn't that what happened before." Wasn't the freshman catching the thing for students to join clubs?
"It's different." Sakura answered, "That was only for clubs that wanted a specific student."
"Students who hadn't joined a club can go to the party and pick out the one they want to join."
"I don't think they can after what happened." Seeing how the upperclassmen ran around like madmen made it hard for him to think of something else.
"But are you going to join?"
"Sure, I don't mind." Keith couldn't say no in this situation. The look they had was something.
