Volume 6 Chapter 75: Fate
"What?!" "Where are you going again?!" Herrick and Melor jumped up from their seat and went straight to Keith. But the guy was unfazed as he sipped on some coffee,
"I'm going on a dungeon exploration in a few days. Why are you guys so taken aback?" When he returned home, Keith had shared his plans with them. And that was when their jaws dropped in disbelief.
"You're going on a dungeon exploration! How can we not act so surprised?!" Alfia retorted! This guy! They were talking about wanting to go to an unknown dungeon before. Who would have thought he would actually be going to one so soon?!
"It just happened." Keith didn't think he would be going as well.
"We're dying to go too!" Herrick and Melor exclaimed. The two were the ones who had been yearning for this adventure. Keith shook his head, "I'm sorry. But you guys can't come. I'm only going because I got a recommendation from Kaiser." Everyone in that room was B-rank or higher. He was fortunate.
"Then we'll sneak in!" That was the only thing they could do!
"Do that, and those adventurers might end you." The guild might even ban them for trying to pull a stunt like that.
"But we want to go!" "Stop complaining like children!" Faelyn scolded. These two are a bunch of brats.
"Grandpa Cadmus, I will train for the next few days. I won't be attending any classes." Keith would train his body to the utmost since he had a few days before going there.
"Alright." Cadmus nodded. He understood preparations were needed. Like that, Keith headed for the training ground. He took a big sigh as he stretched himself. While he started his training,

"Will the two of you quit it with that look?" Alfia scolded Herrick and Melor. Those two were still pouting.
"We wanted to go as well." The fame and fighting were going to be amazing!
"But is Keith going to be alright being alone?" Herrick muttered.
"Eh?" "You know, Keith is going to be going there alone. Will he going to be alright?"
"It's Keith. That guy could handle about everything coming his way." Jack retorted.
"True. But it doesn't sit well with me." Herrick still pouted.
"When did you become like this?" Alfia backed away from him. This was the first time she had heard this lion brat talk about anything besides fighting!
"Hey! Can I not be worried about a friend?"
"..." It's coming from you that's weird.
...
"Hah!" Carolyn shouted as she fired another shining blade at a target.
Bamm! A giant explosion resounded the entire field. What was left of the target was the legs. The whole body was missing. She wiped off the sweat from her head as she stared at the target. I didn't blow the whole thing up.
"Carolyn, here." Alger raised a bottle of water.
"Thank you, Senior." She was parched after using her magic.
"You progressed well." Alger smiled as he stared at the targets that were destroyed. Slowly, Carolyn was learning how to use her magic.
"Thank you for teaching me." The person who had been teaching her all of this was him.
"Carolyn, do you believe in fate?"
"Hmm?" "You know about how we were destined to meet and such."
"Pff, haha! Senior, I didn't know you liked to joke like that!"
"Check this out." Alger stuck out his hands. And when he did, a small space started to grow. Carolyn's eyes widened as she didn't expect that.
"Try adding your magic into it as well." Carolyn did just that. It was like a miniature galaxy was in his hand.
"Do you believe in fate now?" Alger smiled.
"Ugh,"
"Can I ask you a question? Do you think you're the weakest?"
"...No." Carolyn was a little hesitant as she said this. That was because she knew many strong people. For example, Alfia knew how to use grand-level magic, and Gabriel was better than her with a sword.
"You don't have to worry about anything. You will become the strongest with my guidance." Alger smirked.
