Volume 6 Chapter 32: Keith Effect In Full Force
"Ooo!" The monkey scratched its head, confused. Ahh. I guess it wouldn't understand. He was talking to a monkey after all. Keith moved his plate close to the monkey and gestured it was food.
"Ooo!" The monkey jumped up and down. It understood what Keith meant.
"Here," Keith placed a plate next to him. The monkey didn't hesitate as it munched on the food.
"OOO!" The monkey was excited as it ate up everything on the plate. It looked at Keith and raised the plate.
"Hmm? Want more?"
"Oooo!" Keith handed more to the monkey. While that happened, the monkey sat in his lap as it continued to eat. And that was when the other monkeys made their move! They started to surround him!
They sat by his side, trying to get food as well. Keith didn't mind as he passed some food to them. The monkeys got excited as they surrounded him.
"...How does he do it?" Faelyn muttered as she stared at the sight of Keith surrounded by them.
"Is that even possible?"
"... Don't think so." What Alfia was surprised about was how Keith gained their trust so quickly. He only gave the monkeys pasta, and they sat around him like that. That was not normal. To gain trust with one small amount of food was unlikely.
"That's why I always said, Keith effect," Carolyn commented.
"I didn't believe it at first. But I kinda get it now." Melor understood. In the beginning, he heard about it from Jack. Yet, he couldn't get it. But seeing it in action, he understood what the Keith effect was.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"..." You know that I can hear you, right?! Keith continued to have a smile. But inside, he was groaning. There was no such thing as the Keith effect!
"Alright, now that we're done eating, can you help me collect the grass?" Keith smiled at the monkeys.
"Eh?" Are you asking the monkeys for help?
"It would be a good way to bake bread out of and the other things." Pasta wasn't the only thing black grass could be made out of. He could make bread and other baked goods with it.
"OOO!" The monkeys didn't hesitate as they grabbed the grass from the ground; they understood what Keith wanted.
"..." Can't believe he made them work. The group was speechless at this sight.
"The Keith effect is strong," Herrick muttered.
Twitch! Keith sighed, "You guys can't be dilly-dallying either! Pack up your things as well!"
"Yes, Sir!" "But we already packed up."
"Just do something. This guy is just angry." Carolyn whispered. She knew this man had heard everything they said. And he was pouting about it.
"Understood!" The rest pretending to work.
"..." I can still hear you!
"OOO!" The monkeys quickly returned to Keith with black grass in their hands. Keith smiled, "Thank you so much."
"OOO!" The monkeys smiled back. It was thanks for giving them some food.
"Let's go now!" Since they finished their meal, it was time for them to head out.
"The next sections are going to be a little annoying." The first two floors were calm for the most part. Adventurers could go in with the information the guild provided. However, there was also going to be strange.
"There's going to be more monsters. Not only that, there will be many more variables showing up as well." Keith warned. The rest nodded as they headed off.
"Ooo!" And the monkeys waved them goodbye as well.
"Isn't that what you said last time?" Carolyn smiled.
"Mmhmm. That's because I need to say it." Keith stated calmly.
"Eh?" Alfia overheard their conversation. She was going to ask why, but,
"I feel like we can do anything we want." Herrick raised his hand in the air as he walked.
"..."
"That's why I said that." Keith shook his head. He understood Herrick and Melor were going to be hot-headed. That was why he had to repeat the same thing.
"I see." Alfia and Carolyn understood. As the group continued,
"Hah! What's this? Why are there a bunch of brats here?"
