Volume 5 Chapter 16: You Two Are Close?
"Are you guys alright with the spirit staying here during our school hours?" Keith asked Diana and Nephele. He had to let the dorm mothers know about this.
"Sure, that would be okay."
"It's another spirit. It really doesn't matter." Nephele shrugged her shoulders. They had so many different monsters here. At this point, it really didn't matter if another one came.
"That's great." Keith clapped his hand. The spirit will arrive here tomorrow afternoon.
...
"Knight, are you ready?" During the knight class, Keith held the reins for Knight.
"Ngeh!" Knight snorted. He was ready.
"Can you hold your horse back? He's scaring my horse." Jack backed away from Keith as he held his horse. His horse was shivering because of Keith's horse.
The aura coming from Knight was thick. It was full of killing intent! And it wasn't only Jack's horse who was scared. The horses around them were frightened out of their wits!
"Knight, calm down." Keith patted the horse's head, trying his best to calm him down. It did work. Knight calmed down to some degree as he nestled into Keith's hand.
"Alright, let's warm up!" Like that, Keith started to proceed with Knight. And as they moved, the horses moved away from them. Maybe I should have started last.
Fear. The amount of pressure Knight placed on the others was tremendous. It made the other horses go crazy. Some even slowed down, trying not to be close to Keith.
...
"Keith, you're going to go last." Tennol realized it as well. Throughout their training, the other horses couldn't do a thing with Knight there! If Keith continued to be near them, they wouldn't learn.

"I know." Keith sighed.
"Tch!"
"Krystal, can you not do that? I said I was sorry." Keith wanted to cry. She was angry about today's practice. Krystal and her horse were the only ones who stood up to Keith.
But her horse spaced out when Knight made a sound.
"I'm going to get you."
"You sound like a villain." Keith retorted. As the three headed out, they saw Alfia waiting at the door.
"Hi, Alfia!" Keith waved his hand. He turned to Krystal, "See you later, Krystal."
Krystal frowned, "Stop acting so close to me."
"Kay, later!" Ignoring the demonic look behind him, Keith waved his hand as he approached Alfia.
"Sorry, did I interrupt your conversation?"
"Nah, we're finished. Anyway, let's go to the island." That was the only reason Alfia waited for him here.
"Wait, you're bringing your horse as well?" Alfia stared at Knight. Keith was holding the reins of his horse.
"Mmhmm. Knight doesn't want to be with the other horses." I don't think the horses would like him either. Actually, they might faint from him being there. Just class alone was enough to cause problems. Having him stay there would make it worse. And said horse didn't care for the stables either!
"Ngeh!" "I know, I know." Keith patted the horse's head.
"Let's go!" "Mmhmm."
...
"Alright, what's the matter?" Keith noticed how Alfia stared at him with concerned eyes.
"...Nothing." "Just say it."
"I didn't peg you to be close with Krystal as well?
"We're acquaintances." Aside from the fact that she wanted to kill him all of the time, Krystal and Keith were alright.
"But it's different. Krystal is really quiet when she speaks with other people."
"She really isn't if you talk with her," Keith laughed. She was also talkative and competitive.
"And you're like that too."
"Eh? I'm like that?" Alfia blinked her eyes.
"What do you mean "eh?" You should know you're the same as Krystal in this regard." Keith shook his head. They entered the island.
"You can call your spirit out."
"Mmhmm." Alfia nodded as she summoned her spirit. But there wasn't one. It was two; the bird and the wolf.
"Oh, you have another one?" Keith patted the wolf's head. The wolf seemed to like it as it nestled its head into Keith's hand.
"..."
"Aww, there, there." Keith continued to rub the wolf's head.
"...." Alfia had a frustrated look as she watched this.
This is going to happen a lot. Jack shook his head. This was the start.
"Keith! You're back!" As he patted the wolf, Fira and Aria came over.
"Mmhmm! I'm home."
"Ahh! Birdy!" Fira waved her hand at the spirit.
"And there's also this guy!" Keith said as he pointed at the new spirit.
"Hello!" "Ho." Fira and Aria waved hello.
"Woof!" It seemed the wolf liked Fira as he licked her face.
"Ehehe, you're drooling over me!" Fira shook her body.
"Fira, I'm going to show them the area. Can you be the guide?"
