Volume 6 Chapter 16: Wait A Minute, Pigs Fly
"Hey! I'm writing here!"
"Well, you're writing too slow!" Throughout the class, bickering went on with the students. And all it came from the cuff. When one person wrote, the other side would do the same. But that would just mess the other up.
Aidiun's eyebrows twitched as he heard everything. However, he took a deep sigh. Calm down. This will keep happening for a few days. The thing he needed to do was to keep a level head and get used to it. The first day was always the worst.
But there was a particular duo that made noise.
"Hey!" Alfia glared at Herrick. The latter was dozing off in class. And that caused Alfia's head to drop to the table.
"Snoooring." Herrick didn't seem to hear as he was already out.
"Hmpf!" Alfia pinched her cheeks and pulled hard. That caused Herrick to be wide awake.
"How could you! I was having a nice nap!"
"Herrick, if you want a nice nap, maybe you should stand outside." Aidiun glared.
"Ugh!" Herrick glared at Alfia as he got up. But when he did,
"Come on!" Alfia got up as well!
"Uhhh," Aidiun didn't know what to say; he forgot about that. It was a second before he decided, "Alfia, you go with him. The two of you are treated as one person."
"..." Alfia really wanted to cry. She was getting punished because of this man!
"This is all your fault!"
"My fault?! We wouldn't be in this mess if you didn't fire magic at me!" Herrick groaned. His fur was singed from that.
"I had a clear shot! But you had to jump in like a crazy person!" Alfia roared.
"You should have warned me!" The two continued to yell at one another.
"..." Aidiun's eyes twitched before leaving his class. It was only a few seconds before he returned. Everyone could tell who he yelled at.
...
"Can we get something to eat?" During lunchtime, this was when things got hectic. Keith placed the lunchboxes on the table. However,
"Hey! Stop shoving your face down like a pig!"
You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
"Then stop eating so slow!"
Sparks were flying between the two as they tried to eat. While that happened, Keith and the others watched.
"What are we looking at right now?"
"Probably a comedy skit?"
"Wow, they are really doing this to you guys." Tristan, Maria, and Licht were stunned.
"Did you guys not have this?" Jack questioned
"No!" "Of course not. We would have killed each other if we wore that."
"Seriously?! What is wrong with this grade?!" Herrick slammed his head down on the table. When he did,
"No!" Alfia did the same, but her face slammed into the food.
"..." Oh, dear.
"You!" Alfia's eyes were bloodshot!
"My bad," He did it on impulse. However, the food on Alfia's face made him laugh!
She grabbed her fist and punched herself! Herrick got hit as well.
"My bad as well." The battle has begun!
"Should we stop this?" Sarah questioned.
"No, we don't need to do this for now."
"Eh?"
"We need to give them free rein the first day. That way, they could focus on the second day." There were bound to be fights. Especially on the first day since it was the first time they wore those bracelets. And with the added bonus of losing, tempers would flare highest.
"..." Should we really not do anything about it? Those two were really going at it.
"They haven't killed each other. So we're fine." As long as they didn't kill the other, everything was good. After a few minutes,
"Got that out of your systems?" Keith looked at the two.
"..." They said nothing, but their looks told him everything.
"Good. For now, Faelyn, you feed Alfia. Melor, you do the same thing for Herrick."
"Understood!" "Wait a minute, why am I feeding him?"
"Because I said so, and you're next to him."
"Jack is next to him as well!" One side was Melor, and the other was Jack.
"Hey! Don't bring me into this!" He was eating quietly, trying not to get involved with this.
"One of you two would have to do it. I don't care who." Keith declared.
"..." Tyrant.
"Princess, Ahh." Faelyn raised some spaghetti in front of Alfia's mouth.
"Faelyn, you don't need to do that. I'm not a child." It was a little embarrassing as she did it.
"But isn't it normal to do that?" Faelyn continues to have it in front of her mouth. In the end, Alfia ate it.
"...Don't expect me to say something like that."
"I'll kill you if you do," Herrick glared. Two different scenarios were occurring. One was filled with flowers, while the other was in tears. The contrast was so distinct!
Keith turned to Carolyn, "By the way, what was the power you showed?" He was meaning to say something. The power Carolyn displayed against the golem was something. She glittered as she blew the golem up in a few hits.
"What do you expect? I'm a genius." Carolyn proudly declared.
"Yes, you are. But who taught you that?" Last time he checked, she couldn't use magic like that.
"Learned it."
Boop!
"Hey!" "That doesn't make sense." Keith frowned.
"What? Is someone jealous?"
"Hmm? Jealous? Of course not." Keith shook his head. But he couldn't say he was happy about this. It was confusing.
"Hmpf! I'm going to surpass you soon!"
"Fat chance," Keith pinched the girl's cheeks, "The day you surpass me is the day when pigs fly." Wait a minute, pigs do fly.
