Volume 6 Chapter 48: Marketing
"Junior! I miss you so much!" Ange didn't hesitate to hug Keith. But that caused the latter to sigh, "Senior Ange, it was only a few days." She was acting like he was gone for a month.
"You should have told me about it! And here I wondered if you ditched me because of the work."
"...If I did, I wouldn't be here." Keith would have left without any thoughts about it. That was something he knew for sure.
"You had thoughts about this?!" Ange gasped, "How could you be so heartless?!"
"Of course. Also, you shouldn't be holding me like this, Senior." Keith lightly held her shoulders.
"Eh?" A smile soon formed on Ange's face, "Aww, is my junior shy?"
"Not shy. Just don't want my clothes to be dirty."
Ange scoffed, "I have you know students would love to have tears and a hug from me!"
"...I'm amazed you can say something like that." And those guys are way too weird.
"Hmpf! You just don't understand the beauty of this senior."
"..." Keith shook his head, "Aren't you doing good with Helen?" From what he saw, this girl was going to the cafe like no tomorrow.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
"Not going to answer my question?" Ange leaned in front of Keith. But the latter continued to have an undisturbed expression.
"Hah, the cafe is so quiet and nice." Ange smiled, "But there's not many customers." Despite the addition, there were no new customers.
"It'll ruin the atmosphere." Keith shook his head.
"Helen said the same thing."
"That store is not meant to have long lines or many customers." Ambiance was key. Entering the cafe, Keith understood what it was like. A quaint and quiet place. Having a lot of people there would kill the atmosphere. It just needed enough.
"By the way, what are you doing right now?" While they talked, Keith was working on something.
"Ahh, I was thinking about marketing a new dish I cooked." Those boffalo were interesting.
"Hmm? You made a new dish?"
"Yep, yep. My island mates and I explored a dungeon and got some interesting ingredients. But I need to market it." Cooking it was simple enough. But marketing the boffalo was something entirely different.
Only a few people had eaten it before. The reaction was similar to the cloud pig; no one knew how to deal with it. And it was difficult to introduce this dish as it was pretty grey. It didn't look appetizing. The cloud pig looked appetizing as it had a golden color. Marketing and visuals were pretty easy to use.
He would need something to balance the grey color. As Keith was lost in thought, he almost forgot about Ange.
"What's the matter, Senior?" Ange was staring at him.
"Junior looks really handsome while he works."
"Senior, stop teasing me. I'm going to think it's true."
"What if I was charmed?" Ange gave a mischievous smile. Keith sighed, "If it was true, then I would have to run away."
"Eh?" "I don't want to get attacked by your thousands of admirers."
Did she forget about all her admirers? It was quite annoying.
"Pff." Ange giggled, "So true."
