Volume 6 Chapter 35: Hey! Thanks For The Help!

"Hah!" Herrick roared as he sliced down the monster in front of him. That monster was split cleanly in half. As he fought in the front, a soldier came from the side.

"Hmpf!" Jack blocked the soldier with his swords. And what came thrusting into its body was Arlo's knife! The other side fared the same. Faelyn stabbed using her spear, piercing the soldier's skull. And Alfia continued to fire magic as well.

"Go to the left!" Keith ordered. The group quickly headed towards the left.

"Good job, everyone." Keith smiled, "We have some time for a break before we fight again."

"Understood."

"Arlo, I will leave it up to you." "Understood, Leader!" Arlo took out a portable hearth from his backpack. He started to maintain their weapons.

"Thank goodness we have Arlo here." Herrick sighed in relief.

"It's nothing much." Arlo scratched his head.

"Don't sell yourself short, Arlo. We can move forward like this because we don't have to worry about our weapons breaking." Faelyn added. Arlo was able to maintain their weapons and other equipment as they explored.

"We don't have to worry about our weapons breaking when we go all out. You're here to fix it up if it does." Jack added. They didn't need to hesitate.

Arlo looked down in embarrassment. But he continued to work faster as he maintained the weapons. Keith glanced at the tunnels in front of them.

"Which one are we going to take this time?" Gabriel questioned.

"I'm thinking about it. Because the next one is going to be annoying." Keith groaned.

"Eh?" You're thinking about it?

"Why are you giving me that look?"

"..." Keith had always led them to the correct tunnel last time they checked. For him to say he was thinking about it was surprising.

"At least there are only five." There were five tunnels.

"..." I see.

"Well, we'll leave the decision to you." Carolyn smiled.

"Eh?"

"Yeah. You're our leader. So that means you make the decision." Alfia added.

"Can't we do some talking?"

"There's no need to talk about it," Gabriel said, "Keith, you're our leader. That means you have to make the decision."

"And besides, most of the time, your choices are correct."

"Eh?"

"Your luck is so high that I don't know what to say." The others nodded to that. Keith's luck was abnormal. Sometimes, they wondered if he was an otherwordly being.

"..." Keith sighed deeply before pointing, "If you all think that way, I will go with this one!"

"Understood!" Like that, the group entered one of the tunnels. As they did, it was something they had never expected. No monsters.

"Ey! You chose the right one!" Keith's luck was the highest out of everyone.

"...I don't know." Keith looked around. He continued to have a calm expression as he walked.

"There are more tunnels here." Herrick pointed at the other side.

"Wait a minute, everyone!" "Hmm?"

"Something's wrong," Keith stated. The floor was vibrating. And it was not a regular vibration.

"Prepare for battle!" Herrick and Melor raised their sword and axe. All of them were prepared for battle.

"Eh?" What came out was surprising. That was because the people who came out of one tunnel were none other than the ones who talked down to them!

The adventurers ran with all their might. However, they noticed the group in front of them. Their face turned evil,

"Hey! Thanks for the help!"

"Bastards!" Keith quickly shouted, "Retreat!" He knew what they were trying to do. Keith didn't want to fight with all those monsters behind them. However, it was too late.

"See ya later!" The adventurers didn't hesitate to destroy the tunnel!

"Damn bastards!"

"We have to fight now," Herrick smirked.

"Yeah!"

"Dammit," Keith sighed as he looked at the monsters. There was no choice but to fight with the monsters before him. How many did they anger?

In front of them were rows of skeletons. They were all soldiers. However, it was nothing compared to that of the second floor. There were more than 40 in front of them.

"Think we can deal with all of them?" Herrick smirked at Melor.

"Of course!"

"There's something else we need to worry about," Keith sighed. There weren't only skeleton soldiers.

"Watch out for the knight's swords! These guys actually know how to fight."
