Volume 6.5 Chapter 52: I Want To Learn Too!
Keith took a deep sigh as he noticed Diana staring at him. She gave him a look: are you going to do something about them? She sensed their presence as well.
I am. But what to do with them? A mischievous grin formed on Keith's face as multiple ideas came to his mind. There were many options he could go with. Yet, he knew what to do.
Keith turned to Fira, "Fira, I think it's time for us to test your magic."
"Okay!" Fira nodded. Practicing for a few minutes, she was eager to try out her new skills.
"Good. I have some intriguing targets around us. They're going to be perfect for you," A mischievous glint shined in the man's eyes.
"Where are they?" Fira glanced around; the only thing she could see was trees.
"I can sense them for you. But you have to be secretive."
"Okay! Please help me out!"
Diana could only let out a small chuckle as she knew what would happen.
Keith nodded, "Don't worry, I will." Having a contract with Fira, Keith could share some of his abilities with her. One was mana sense. When he used it, Fira linked up. That was when she saw the three figures. They were a few feet away from them. That was more than enough for her to make her move. The vines slowly moved behind them, and it didn't seem they realized it.
Just a few breaths away, that was when the vines struck!
"Wahh!" "Time out!" "Fira, it's us!" Three voices squealed as they were brought toward the group.
"Eh? It's you guys?" Fira blinked as she stared at Alfia, Faelyn, and Sarah! The three were the ones who followed them. It was quite the sight. The three had their heads downwards as the vines held them up.

"Before we talk, please get us down!" Thank goodness Fira didn't tie up their arms as they grabbed their skirts, trying to hold it up. Everything would be laid bare for Keith to witness. They would die from embarrassment.
"Sorry!" Fira quickly loosened the vine as the three fell to the ground. Yet Keith held his arms together as he stared at the three, "Why were you three following us?"
"Hah? How did you know we were following?" Faelyn was puzzled; they were definitely far from them. They tried to be as quiet as possible as well.
"Mana sense. Also, didn't Alfia tell you about it?" Alfia had done this before. She tried to follow him when he hunted in the forest.
"Ah, kinda forgot."
"..." Keith shook his head in dismay. This ditzy girl. He asked again, "Why were you guys following us?"
When that was said, Sarah and Faelyn nudged Alfia forward as if she were the mastermind. Alfia took a deep sigh, "I just wanted to see how you guys cooperated."
"?" Keith and Fira looked at one another before turning to Alfia and tilting their heads. They both have the following: Can you explain further?
"I just wanted to see how you work together with Fira!" Alfia shouted. But when he heard that, Keith and Fira looked at one another. You wanted to see how we work together?
"Why?"
"I want to be able to command my spirits like you." Alfia sulked as she continued, "My spirits are so rowdy under my command. And it's worse because of you."
"Worse because of me?" How was this his problem?!
"That's because my spirits favor you more than me!" Alfia roared. That was something she couldn't believe!
Keith tilted her head, "What? There's no way that I have more control than you." But the moment he had said this, the others tilted their heads.
"Now that she mentioned it."
"The princess's spirits are really close with him."
Sarah and Faelyn thought about it; what Alfia said had some truth to it. The bird and wolf stick to Keith like Fira.
"Can't argue with that." "Diana?!"
The last one really hit home; Diana was the one who usually wouldn't say these types of things.
Diana explained, "You really do seem closer than Alfia." From interactions alone, Keith was really close to the spirits.
"Ms.Diana! You're killing the princess!" Faelyn quickly blurted.
"Ugh. Dorm Mother Diana is even saying my spirits aren't mine." Alfia was about to die, "I'm a worthless master and should be throwing myself out."
"Uh." Diana scratched her head; she really didn't think it was that important. Keith sighed deeply, "How about I help you guys?"
"Really?!" "Yeah, help out with your spirits." It would help them get stronger if they get their spirits to help them out.
"We'll do that tomorrow."
