Volume 5 Chapter 25: More Testing

"Ho!" Aria liked the soup as well. The two continued to drink the soup. As they did,

"It might be a little too rich." Tasting it a second time, Keith felt it was a little heavy. He did add a lot of meat to it.

It is made out of pork as well. Adding more meat would definitely make it heavy. Keith thought about it. Should I add fewer cubes? He needed to do some more testing, however,

"I think I found the first." Keith knew this was going to be part of his menu. While he was happy,

I guess they don't know how to use it.

He heard what the adventurers said about him. As he continued to hunt those pigs, adventurers murmured. They kept talking about how insane he was.

These pigs were annoying but harmless. Not only that, they tasted incredibly horrible. And that was to be expected. Keith had to have some control over it.

"Let's go to bed now." Since this floor only had those pigs, it was a safe zone.

"Ho." The owl flew next to him. Like that, the two went to bed.

...

"Can you explain to us what happened?" Aidiun asked as he stared at Herrick. The other adults also gazed at him, all confused about his actions.

Herrick scoffed, "Those guys tried to mess with me, so I beat them up." He heard their conversation. They mocked him, so he beat them up!

"You broke one of their arms and beat the other black and blue." Aidiun couldn't believe it. When he first heard about it, he thought there was no way. But it was reality.

"You're lucky you're a royal. That could definitely lead to expulsion." Aidiun groaned, "Don't do this again."

"Hmpf. If there's nothing else, I will go to bed." Herrick didn't look at them as he returned to his room.

"What are we going to do about him?" Aidiun clutched his head. Herrick was pigheaded. From this alone, he could tell the child didn't listen. He would probably do something like this again.

"What do you think we should do?" He turned to the two great spirits. However, the two frowned as well.

"I can blow him away again?" A small tornado formed in Nephele's hand. She could punish him like that.

"That would defeat the purpose." And you probably kill him. Nephele half killed him before. Do it a few more times, and that half would turn into a full.

"Aww." Nephele looked down.

"..." You really want to blow him away that badly?

"We can let Keith deal with it," Diana suggested. The three understood. Herrick listened to the strong. This meant that Keith would be the only person he would listen to.

"I see. But I don't want to rely on him." To rely on another student. As the instructor, he should be the one to deal with this. However, it was a difficult task. Herrick refused to listen to anyone.

"...." While the three discussed, one person heard everything.

...

Yawn! Keith woke up as he got out of his tent. He stretched his hand back and forth.

"Good morning, Aria." Aria slept beside him.

"Ho."

"Let's have some soup." Keith smiled as he took out the pig meat again. It was time for more testing. I will add one cube this time. When he did that, the soup didn't have that dense gold color. It was a light yellow.

Keith took a sip. "I prefer this one." This one had a milder taste. Rich or mild, both styles had a different flavor, and both were something Keith was interested in.

"Which one do you like?" Keith turned to Aria.

"Ho."

"I see. You like the richer one." Keith scratched his head. There's going to be more tests. Once they finished their meal,

"Let's go to the next floor," Keith was still interested in what he could find. Like that, the two headed to the next floor. And when he entered the fifth floor, it was much bigger than the others. Not only that, he could hear the sounds of fighting.

"I guess the adventurers are fighting here." Keith scratched his head. It was similar to the first floor.

"There are a lot of goblins and other monsters like the other ones." It seemed everyone was having a good time. I should head to the next floor. He wasn't going to stay here.

And when he headed to the next floor, it was quiet. Keith glanced around and noticed the number of trees. What's with this silence? It was eerie. Usually, he could hear the sounds of a monster roaring or some movement.

The only thing he could hear was the leaves rustling around.

"!" Before Keith could search, he caught something flying at his back!
