Volume 6 Chapter 18: Power Of Delicious Food
"What's that?" Everyone stared at Keith, drinking the coffee.
"Oh. It's something to perk me up during the day." After he got the macao beans, he quickly ground the beans down and made a drink. It was a great way to increase his focus.
When the customers heard that, their ears jolted forward. New drink?
"Kid, is this going to be on the menu?" Cedric asked the question everyone had on their minds. His eyes were locked onto the canister in his hand. What a fragrance. Since he was near Keith, he could smell the aroma it had.
Keith shook his head, "Nope. It's not going to be on the menu." He thought about it. However, the coffee didn't fit well with his menu.
"But that rich aroma coming from it," Dalen and the other dwarves were locked onto the drink in his hand.
"Nope," Keith smiled.
"Come on, it's only one sip!"
"How could you be so stingy, boss?!"
"Because I only made enough for myself." And I get the feeling if I hand some over, the others would go crazy for it. That was something he didn't want to happen. Finishing his drink in one gulp,
"Next customer in line?"
"You really were selling food." The next one surprised Keith because he knew the person.
"Senior Sakura, hello!" Keith let out a smile, "Is it really that surprising?"
"Mmhmm." Sakura thought Keith was joking. However, it seemed that wasn't the case.

"What would you like?"
"You decide for me." Sakura looked at the menu. There were different options. And she didn't know which one was good or bad.
"Then how about the new ones I added? It's lamb with garlic sauce. Also, a pork broth soup as well? Can you finish all of it?"
"Mmhmm. I can finish it." Sakura nodded as she waited on the side. Keith's hand started to move quick as he cooked. Since Sakura came to taste it, he had to prepare it to beyond perfection!
"Senior, your order is up!" Keith smiled as he handed the food over to her.
Sakura looked down at the food. She recognized some of the meat there. It was all covered in sauce and wrapped in something. Next to it was a rich golden soup.
"Please give it a try," Keith gestured to the woman.
"Mmhmm," Sakura didn't hesitate as she took a bite of the crepe. When she swallowed it.
"What do you think about it, Senior?" Keith wanted to hear her take on it.
"..." In a span of 2 seconds, Sakura did the unthinkable and gobbled up the food!
"..."
"I can get another one, right?"
"Sure you can. Please finish the soup as well." There was no need to answer his question. Her actions alone were enough.
"Mmhmm," Sakura drank the soup in a few gulps. She looked down and turned to Keith, "...I can get more of this as well, right?"
"Sure." Senior Sakura is so quirky. Like that, Keith started to work on seconds for the girl. As he did,
"But to think there are so many people here."
"It's expected. The people had never tried this delicious food before." Most customers came here because the food was something they never tried before.
"Not that. I meant there are a lot of different races here." There were humans, dwarves, beastmen, and elves. This was surprising. All of them were here in one place.
"I think that's because of my friends," This definitely had to do with Herrick, Melor, and Alfia. The prince/princess of their kingdom ate at his cart on a daily basis. That would definitely cause them to come over here as well.
"I see. But it's rare that all of them are this cooperative." Usually, they were looking to kill one another. She didn't see it here. It was more comfy and warm.
Well, there was trouble with the elves. Before Alfia came here, the elves had caused trouble. But he wasn't going to say it. They learned their lesson and chilled out.
"Is this the power of delicious food?" Sakura muttered.
"Pff."
"It might be because of that," Sakura stated.
"Senior Sakura knows how to make jokes."
