Volume 5 Chapter 36: Heading To The Library Again
"Seriously?! Why are you so good?!" Jack grumbled as he walked with Keith and Knight.
"Because I have the best horse." A proud smile formed on Keith's face as he patted Knight's head.
"Ngeeh!" Knight snorted, proud. Of course, he could clear a track like that quickly.
"You wrecked the course in a minute!" Jack couldn't believe it. Keith and Knight were the strongest duo. They destroyed everything in their path!
"And your horse! He terrified the others to their core!" Regardless of their position in the lineup, Knight's mere presence was enough to send the other horses into a state of panic!
"My bad," Keith scratched his head. He didn't think it would be like that as well. While they returned to the island, a few elves got in their way.
"Excuse us," Keith asked as he tried to move. However, the elves stood in front of them.
"Is something the matter?" "You're the matter."
"Eh?" Keith tilted his head. Is there something wrong with him? He had never met this person before. Jack frowned, ready to throw hands if he needed to.
"We will give you one warning. Stay away from our princess!" The elf warned. The others followed suit by giving him a stink eye.
"Eh? Let's ignore them." Keith turned to Jack. He could care less as he walked away from them. He continued onwards, not looking back at the others.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
"What are those guys' problems?"
"Maybe crushing over her?" That could be the reason.
"...Maybe."
"Also, can you take Knight back home,"
"Eh?"
"I want to go to the library," Keith smiled. With the cloud pig, he wanted to find some other things out.
"You want me to take it back home? Alone?" Jack looked at Knight. His eyes returned to Keith. You know I'm not going to survive, right?!
"Relax, you'll be good," His words were directed to Knight.
"Ngeh." The horse snorted.
"Good." Keith smiled, "See, he won't cause any trouble for you."
"..." You said that. However, when Keith was nowhere in sight,
"Let's go now." "Snort!"
"..." I knew it! Jack wanted to cry! This guy was ready to throw him out if he touched him.
Keith didn't know what occurred as he headed to the library. He went to the crystal and started to search for his book. While he did,
"Where should I find a place to sit?" Keith looked around. He noticed there were few places where he could sit. However, as he looked around, he saw a free spot.
"Hi, can I sit here?" Keith asked the student. However, when he stared at her, he was surprised. So beautiful. Light golden brown long hair, golden eyes, cherry red lips. With the sunlight shining down, she looked like an angel.
She could give Carolyn and Alfia a run for their money. The student looked up, "Sure, you can sit here."
"Thank you." Keith sat down and read his book. While he did,
"Junior, I think you should sit somewhere else?" "Why so?"
The student raised one of her brows, "Don't you notice the gazes?" She could tell the male students were going crazy. It was hateful. Yet, this student wasn't bothered!
"Oh, I get that way too many times. I got used to it." Keith smiled. He learned how to ignore it.
"...Pff." She chuckled, "Little junior, you seem to suffer a lot."
"Don't mention it," Keith groaned, "Senior, my name is Keith. What's yours?"
"You can call me Ange." Ange gave a smile.
"I see that you're reading something interesting," Ange glanced at the book Keith had. It was interesting.
"Ah, I wanted to learn more about the animals outside." Keith smiled.
"I see." Ange nodded as she continued to read. Keith did the same for an hour or two.
"Senior, I will be leaving now." Keith got up with the book.
"See you, Junior Keith."
"Mmhmm," Keith smiled and walked away.
"So that's this year's representative."
