Volume 5 Chapter 10: Why Are You Here?!

Keith took a big sigh as he ate his dinner. But while he did this, everyone tilted their heads, "Keith, is there something the matter?"

"There's nothing." Keith waved his hand. He was spacing out again.

"Is it because of our class?" Jack sighed.

"Hmm? What happened in class?"

"Keith still doesn't have a horse."

"Wait, you don't?" "How do you not have a horse?" Everyone was perplexed. How could Keith not have one? It has been a month since class started.

"..." Jack, wrong thing. That was on his mind. But that was not the reason why he was spacing out. Keith explained, "It's fine. Instructor Tennol said he would find more horses for me to try out." Tennol was preparing more for him.

"But it's so long. Are you going to be fine?" The class would only get more challenging as time went on. If he doesn't get one, it would be a problem.

"It's fine." Keith was a quick learner. He could catch up with them in a few days.

Diana and the rest didn't say anything as they watched him.

...

The horse continued to eat the grass as it had the time of its life. The grass was incredibly delicious.

"We need to talk," Hearing the voice, the horse turned to see Diana with a smile.

"Ngeh?" The horse looked at her curiously.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"It's time to pay your dues," Diana stated calmly.

...

"Guess I'm going to be sitting on the side again." Keith sighed as he looked at the horses again. None of them wanted to pair up with him.

"Keith, isn't that the war horse?" Tennol noticed something inside the stable.

"Huh?!" The war horse? Keith looked at the end of the stable,

"Why are you here?!" He was surprised to see the horse!

"Ngeh!" The horse nudged Keith's face.

"What do you mean? You want me to ride you?"

This was a surprise. Keith didn't think he would ride the horse. The horse lowered its head. There was no hesitation as Keith jumped on. Feels nice. Keith got back down,

"I guess I don't need any other horse, Instructor Tennol."

"Indeed, you don't." Tennol chuckled. Today was going to be quite hectic. That was something he knew for sure.

...

"Keith, are you going to sit out again?" Jack questioned.

"Nope. Got me a horse."

Jack blinked, "Which one?"

"He's in the stable."

"What is with that horse?!" Someone screamed loud enough for everyone to hear it. Keith and Jack looked at one another before heading in. Everyone stared at the giant horse.

"Relax, that's my horse." Keith laughed. But that caused the others to widen. That's your horse?! The representative got a horse. And it was twice the size as theirs!

"This is going to be fun." Keith smiled. But that smirk was something the others gulped.

...

"You have to bear with it for now." Keith turned to the horse as it flayed around restlessly beside him. That was because the horse had reigns over its face.

I didn't like it one bit!

"Ngeh!" "Don't worry, I will take it off after class." Keith patted the horse's head. It soothed the animal.

"Today's lesson is going to be target destruction," Tennol stated as he snapped his fingers, causing targets to emerge.

"You guys will be destroying objects in a course. And it will be timed." Once Tennol said that, all of the students gulped at the test.

"We'll start with you," Tennol stated as he pointed at someone.

"Understood!" The student nodded as he got on his horse and walked to the starting line. And it began. The student was going at a steady pace. But Tennol shook his head,

"You fail." He was going too slow, hitting the time limit.

"Next one up!"

And like that, another student made their move. He went as fast as he could. But the person went too fast as he fell off his horse.

This test is going to be challenging. Keith thought as he stared at the targets. This is a proper cooperation between the horse and rider.

"If you go too fast, you cannot control your aim and accuracy. If you go too slow, you will waste time." Krystal stood beside him as she analyzed.

"This needs a good understanding of your horse's limit and control."

"Krystal, you're next," Tennol shouted.

"Good luck on it." Keith smiled.
