Volume 5: Chapter 9: Clueless Child

Volume 5: Chapter 9: Clueless Child

The next morning, Keith prepared breakfast for everyone. And they ate like no tomorrow.

"I'm going to head out now!" While they ate, Keith decided to go out and work. But the moment he came out,

"Why do we have to work so early in the morning?!" Nephele cried out.

"Because we're the dorm mother, we need to work!" Diana stated. She dragged Nephele outside to work. Keith laughed as he tried his best not to look at the sight. He grabbed the cart and pulled it away.

As Keith pulled the cart to his usual place, the people saw him.

"He's opening up his cart again!" "Come here!"

Like that, a line formed in front of Keith. This was the usual as more people kept coming over. Keith started to get to work.

"Keith, can't you open your cart a little longer?" Dennis groaned.

"Nope. I'm not planning to open it every day." Keith shook his head.

"Come on!" Dennis wanted to cry. Keith ignored him as he continued on with his stall. While he did that,

"Keith, I want a steak crepe." Keith looked up to see it was Alfia and Faelyn. A smile formed,

"On it. What would you like to have, Faelyn?"

"I will have the same." Faelyn sighed. Like that, Alfia and Faleyn walked over to the side and waited.

"What's the matter?" Keith noticed the gaped expression Dennis had on his face.

"How the heck do you know these beautiful elves?!" Dennis questioned. Those two were really beautiful compared to the others he had seen. And they were already beautiful.

"Keep talking like that, and Nina will end you." Keith cooly stated.

"..." Forget I said anything.

...

"I can't believe he's working," Faelyn muttered in disbelief. Even seeing it was a shock.

"Is it really that surprising?"

"Mmmhmm, Princess. He's a noble." A noble who decided to cook for others? Who would believe that?

"You need to try his food first," Alfia smiled.

"Hmm?" Faelyn tilted her head, "Princess, you have tried his food before?"

"..." Alfia looked away.

"Princess! You must have me by your side if anything happens to you!" Faelyn clutched her head.

"Relax. There's no poison in the food." This girl was worrying over her for nothing.

"But still!"

"Alfia, your food is ready!" Keith shouted. Alfia smiled as she walked over.

"Thank you." Alfia brought the food back for Faelyn.

"This looks interesting," Faelyn said, intrigued by the crepe. It didn't look like anything she had before. But she could see there was meat in there.

"Alright," Like that, the two took a bite. Faelyn's eyes widened, and she couldn't stop as she continued to eat. She turned to Alfia,

"See? It's delicious, right?"

"Indeed, it is." She was amazed by the taste of the food. The two continued to eat without a mind.

...

"Everyone, I'm closing up now!" Keith stated as he closed his cart. When he did that, the customers always had a sad expression. But it was not a surprise as Keith was still a student.

"You guys are still here?" As Keith was ready to pull the cart, he noticed Alfia and Faelyn were still standing there.

"Can't we be here?" Alfia tilted her head. Keith shrugged as he started walking with the two elves by his side.

"So, what's the deal with Herrick joining your island?"

"Eh? You heard about that?" Keith tilted his head.

Everyone knows about it by now. Faelyn retorted. His entering in with Keith's group showed how close they were. Also, it was way too abrupt.

"Ehehe. I don't really know either." Even Keith found it surprising. Herrick joining his island was unexpected.

"You should be more careful from now on."

"I've been hearing that too many times." Keith laughed. The amount of times he heard this was immeasurable.

"I mean against the beastmen."

"Aren't they already after me?" These guys wanted to fight him all the time. They didn't dare after he beat up Herrick.

"Of course. The hate you received from the beastmen is high after what you did to Herrick. But they're going to be more ferocious." Alfia explained.

"..."

"I don't think he understands, Princess." Clueless child. Faelyn shook her head.

"Basically, you stole the crown jewel from the beastmen, and they're going to smite you!" Alfia explained further.

"..." Are you kidding me?! Keith wanted to cry.

"Also, how is she?" Alfia's eyes turned serious.

"Oh, she's fine. She's doing great on the island. She even got herself a student." Keith laughed. Diana was going strong on Nephele. It was spartan. And no one dared to jump in.

"I see." Alfia sighed in relief.

"What are you two talking about?" Faelyn frowned.

"Ahh, it's nothing."

"Yeah, she's talking about my pet."

"Your pet?"

"That's right!" Alfia nodded.

"I see." Faelyn gave them one glance before looking away. But Keith and Alfia gave one another a look.

How dare you call a great spirit your pet!

I'm sorry!
