Volume 6 Chapter 94: Leave Now!
And like that, the battle began. Shakti was the first as she fought with the monsters. However, it was not as rabid as before. I can't move the way I want because of them. Shakti was talking about Groa and the others behind her.
If she were to move forward, the monsters would rush at the opening and to them. Her focus was split. What made it worse was Shakti was never a defensive person. Due to her high offensive power, the monsters were drawn to her, leaving the rest of White Lily to do the work. As she continued to fight, the beast was launched upwards and away.
"Shakti! Go forward! I will watch over everyone!" Keith stated. He stood in front of the others. His earth magic was perfect for holding back and blocking them.
"Thanks a bunch!" Shakti didn't hesitate as she rushed forward with ease of mind! The others did the same. When that happened, the monsters were pushed back. Some came forward, but Keith fired his magic at them, halting their movement.
"Can you keep this up," The mages questioned. Keith had been firing magic left and right. That surprised him. His mana should be running low with all of that.
"I'm fine. I still have enough to use it." Keith smiled. He fired more wind blades at them. The amount of mana he used was around a quarter. As he continued to block them,
"Keith, send them up." "Understood!" Keith slammed his hand onto the ground, and the monsters were shot up! The moment he did, the mages fired all their magic, destroying them.
Keith sighed. Good. Most of them are defeated. A good chunk of the monsters were taken out with that blow.
Clank!
While it did, Keith stared at a particular battle. While everyone fought those beasts, Titus and the raptor were still in their standoff. Neither side landed a clean blow. Both sides couldn't look away from one either, as that would mean their death. The other would take the chance and end it!

"Damn! That raptor is actually fighting Titus to a standstill." Shakti's expression turned grave as she saw them fight.
"That means the monster is at least S-rank," Galven muttered. No wonder I couldn't make a nick. Galven frowned even more as he stared at the battle.
Tong!
A continuous barrage of blows showered between the two. Neither side backed down. However, Keith and the others noticed something wrong.
Titus was being pushed back! It was slow. However, he was definitely forced back by the raptor!
"Don't worry about him! We need to deal with these ones! More are coming our way!" Those monsters weren't the only ones, as more started to show up.
I can't let this keep up. Titus knew it as well. He understood: the raptor had more ferocity. It was wild and sporadic, making it difficult to find an opening.
I'll have to use that.
The raptor was going to deal a lethal blow before it quickly jumped away! Titus's body was surrounded by a dark glow. The others were stunned by this change.
"Is that magic?"
"No, he's not using magic. This is an ability that demon-kin can use." One of his team members explained.
"He wants to end it in one blow." As Titus started charging his blow, the raptor was also doing something!
"That thing can use magic as well!" Lightning and flames surrounded the raptor's horns. It wanted to end this fight with one blow as well!
Both sides charged their attack, ready to take the other out! And after a minute, the two charged at one another!
And a giant explosion caused everyone to back away from all of this! What power! Keith gasped at the power both showed. The smoke slowly cleared up; the outcome was revealed to everyone.
"Titus!" The raptor's horns were pierced through Titus's chest. The others couldn't say anything. Morale dropped as Titus spurted out blood. He turned to the others,
"Get out of here now!"
"!" Without hesitation, Titus slammed his sword down to the ground. It was such a strong sound.
"We have to leave now!" Galven turned to the others.
"What about-" "Forget it! We need to get out of this floor now!" Galven didn't hesitate to grab Morgan. The expression on his face said it all. Titus planned to sacrifice himself so the rest could survive. He didn't like it, but he had no choice.
"Thank you, Galven." Titus knew what was happening. As his body was slowly dropping down, he saw someone else coming down! But the last thing he saw before everything went pitch black!
