Volume 6 Chapter 69: The Real Relationship

And that was how the situation unfolded. Angelica and Sakura continued to stare at one another. The two looked at one another before Angelica turned to Keith, "Keith, who are you going to eat with?" The forbidden question was asked.

"..." Everyone turned to him. Whatever Keith answered next would determine everyone's fate! For all they know, a fight could start right here.

"How about both?" Keith smiled. The two looked at one another.

Eh? Why did you guys smirk? Keith saw the two smiling at one another for a second. Was I wrong?

"Let's go." The two grabbed his hand. Before Keith was brought out of the classroom, "Guys, take this!" He tossed the lunchboxes over. He couldn't forget about them. Herrick and Melor didn't hesitate as they grabbed them carefully!

"Keith!" The two glared at him! Don't you dare throw our treasure?

"My bad!" That was the last thing Keith said as he was brought out. And the two brought him over to an island. Keith tilted his head, "When did our academy have a garden like this?"

What was in front of him was a garden. First was the private training ground, and now this.

"This is a private area where only student council members and disciplinary committee members can come," Angelica explained.

"Pretty okay." It was mid. It wasn't good or bad. He could tell it had been maintained. But if he compared it to his home...yeah.

"Hey! Sakura and I like this place!" Angelica pinched Keith's waist.

"I see." Keith rubbed his waist as he sighed, "Can the two of you not act like this?"

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"What do you mean?" Sakura questioned. Angelica also continued to make a coy look.

"I take it that you guys are pretending?"

"You knew?!" Angelica and Sakura blinked. Keith explained, "I didn't know at first. I thought you guys genuinely didn't like each other. Not enough to fight with one another, but enough to dislike one another. But it was weird." The amount of bloodlust they showed didn't match their intent.

"If you guys really hated each other, then you would have fought with one another like there was no tomorrow." However, Keith didn't see any of that.

"But what did it in was when I saw you guys smirking a few minutes ago." That was the sealing deal. He thought he was imagining it. But he was wrong.

"Hah," The two sighed, "Junior, you are really sharp."

"Sharp and sometimes stupid. Now you guys are pretending?" Keith asked.

"Mmhmm," Sakura nodded, "Angelica and I have been friends since the first year. But the two of us somehow came 1st and 2nd of our entire grade." The two were surprised they had gotten to this point.

"And we have been either 1st or 2nd throughout the year." Angelica sighed, "Somehow, a narrative came up about me and her being rivals and hating one another." That was something the two had never expected.

"I see," Keith kinda felt pity for the two. And the two couldn't just bring it up any longer. It would be weird if they came out and said they were best friends after being treated as hated rivals.

"The only place we can be normal is here." Sakura sighed. Trying to keep up the harsh look against one another was difficult.

"Let's not talk about things like this. Let's have lunch." Keith clapped his hands. He noticed how their expression grew dark as they talked about it. When that was said, the two brought out some food.

"Senior Sakura, you can make your own lunch?" What Sakura brought out was a lunchbox.

"Mmhmm, I do know how to cook." Sakura smiled as she opened the lunchbox. Inside were simple dishes.

"Ange bought some bread from your bakery." In front of Angelica was a bunch of bread.

"I see," "Junior, don't give me that pitiful smile!" Ange pouted. That smile Keith gave her just stabbed her chest. She asked, "What did you bring today?"

"I brought this," Keith said, putting down his lunchbox. Sakura and Angelica stared at it, wondering, "Why is it so big?" It was twice the size of Sakura's lunchbox.

"It's because we have a lot of big eaters on my island." Keith laughed, "So I made the portions larger." Opening the lid, the two stared even more.

"Why is it shining?" The lunchbox gave off a glow, and its fragrance was intense.

"..." "What's the matter, Senior Sakura?"

"I feel so ashamed."
