Volume 6.5 Chapter 20: I’m Fine

After they finished their breakfast, they headed to class. Keith looked around, "Is it just me, or did the hallway change?"

"No, it's been the same." Alfia shook her head. Keith gasped, "Have I been gone for that long?" The last time he checked, he was gone for about a week or two?

"That's because you were in the dungeon for too long." Faelyn shook her head. A week or two would definitely make people forget.

"Ahaha," Keith scratched his head. Arlo and the others separated from the group. When the four entered their classroom, all eyes were locked on them.

"Is it just me, or are they glaring at us?" Keith blinked as he looked around, realizing something was off. Those guys were glaring at him like a pack of fierce wolves.

"You got it wrong."

"Eh?" Keith tilted his head.

"They're glaring at you, not us."

"Say what? Why are they glaring at me?" But that just caused the others to shake their heads. This clueless fool.

"Go sit down." Alfia got to her side, wanting her to sit. However, Keith shook his head, "I can move. It's not that my leg was broken." It was only his arm; that was it.

"No can do." Herrick was on one side and Melor on the other. The two placed him down in his seat. Keith sighed. Is this really going to be my everyday life?

While he thought this,

"Keith, are you playing a game or something?" Ophelia came up to him.

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

"Whenever you come to class after a long break, you always have more bandages than the last time." Each and every time, Keith would come back with something new on his body.

"When you put it like that, maybe I will return with a full-on cast body." Keith laughed. But that just caused Alfia to punch his shoulders.

"Come on, it was just a joke." "Not funny. You being in a cast is the worst kind of trouble." Alfia said, "It always gives me a heart attack." Seeing Keith bruised like that made her heart hurt.

"...I'm sorry." Keith scratched his head. But as the two talked, Ophelia tilted her head, "The two of you sound like a couple."

"We're not!" "Mmhmm!" Alfia and Keith shook their heads.

"You guys sound so close."

"Woah! When did you enter?" Keith quickly scooted away. There were no footsteps or anything when she entered.

"I just did." Carolyn sighed as she sat down beside him. But she slammed her notebook down, causing Keith to gulp. Why are you so mad? Wasn't it normal for him to talk with the others?

But as they talked, Aidiun entered the classroom, "Let's begin class. Keith, can you write?"

"It's fine. I can write, Professor." His right arm was broken. However, he could still write with his left."

"...I see." Like that, class started, and it went at a quick pace, as always. Keith had a composed expression as he copied the notes. After the first class ended,

"Class was so fast,"

"Those two are down!" Herrick and Melor's head slammed into the table in defeat. They couldn't handle the damage it had on their brains.

"There, there, you two." Keith patted one with his hands and his elbows with the other.

"Aren't you no better?" "What do you mean?"

"You're writing with your non-dominant hand," Faelyn interjected.

"Someone else could have written your notes for you." Alfia shook her head.

"Does it really matter what hand I'm writing with? Check it." Keith showed them his notebook. And when they saw that,

"How in the world is it this neat?!" "That's insane!" Everyone looked back at Keith, demanding some answers.

"I've been practicing my left hand for quite some time now." It was not as great as his right. But it was more than enough.

"I can't even beat you with your non-dominant arm." Alfia felt so defeated at this moment.

"Huh? When did this become a competition." This was only copying notes; when did she go to a competition?

"It's one because of you."

"Are you kidding me?!" Keith didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that.

"But when did you start training?"

"When I was a kid. Felt things would become easier if I knew how to use both hands."
