Volume 5 Chapter 77: Interesting New Customers

"Not this kind of nonsense again." Keith wasn't the one who said this. The one who said this was none other than a customer! He wasn't alone. Dennis and the customers' gazes changed; their eyes narrowed. Yet there was one person who didn't seem to realize.

"I'm willing to pay you one platinum coin for everything!" The elf stated as he took out a platinum coin.

"..."

"Is this not enough? How about two?!" The elf then took out two platinum coins.

"..." He was taking out coins like they were nothing!

Keith sighed, "Everyone, let's tone down the killing intent. It's a great day today." The first thing Keith had to do was to ease the other customers. They might start a brawl if this elf talked more.

Hearing his words, the customers eased. Dennis and Skar moved their hands away from their weapon. Keith took a sigh of relief as he turned to the customer,

"I'm sorry, Sir. I can't sell you everything. I want everyone to eat here,"

"I see. Then alright," The person scratched his head. Keith added, "You can go back on line and order seconds if you like," There was no anger in his voice. He could tell the difference between the one who tried to cause trouble. Unlike the other, Keith could tell the elf enjoyed the food.

And he pulled out platinum coins. There was a difference. The troublemaker didn't try any of his food and wanted to buy it at market price. But this guy did try his food and was willing to pay as much as possible.

"Then don't mind me!" The elf didn't wait as he went on line again. Lindor sighed as he turned to Keith, "Apologies, child." This guy caused so much trouble without realizing it.

"It's alright. And my apologies for the customers' anger. There was a recent incident that caused them to be cautious."

"I see," So that's why. Lindor understood more.

"What are you doing, Lin! Come over here!" The elf exclaimed as he waved his hand to come here.

"..." This fool. Lindor sighed as he walked over to him.

Keith smiled, "Next person! Please come forward!" Resolving the problem, the only thing left was to continue.

...

"Sorry, folks! But I'm done for today!" Keith shouted.

"What?! You're out already?!" Fin was shocked. He couldn't believe Keith would be done so quick.

"It's to be expected. The boss's food is delicious."

"Hah? We have to wait another week for it," One person groaned.

"Wait, we have to wait a week?!" Fin's eyes widened.

One person scoffed, "It's because the kid doesn't want to work full time. So we have to wait."

"Grandpa Cedric, when are you going to let that go?" Keith chuckled.

"Never!" His eyes said it all.

"Aww, man!"

"Fin, we have to go," Lin grabbed Fin's shoulders and dragged him off. They couldn't forget about what they had to do. Fin waved his hand,

"See ya later! I will come back when I have time!"

"How could this guy change like that?"

"Is he your friend, Grandpa Cedric?" He saw the two talking with one another on the side. It seemed they were friends.

"Kinda?" Cedric tilted his head. It was more like they were acquaintances.

"Anyways, I'm going to go now!" Keith waved his hand as he set off home. When he returned,

"Welcome home, Keith!" Everyone greeted him as he returned.

"How was today?"

"Pretty good! There were new customers," Keith smiled. As he headed to the kitchen, "Alfia, will you stay here and mooch like Carolyn?"

"Hey!" Carolyn's expression darkened as she glared. And the same goes with Alfia.

"Nope. I can't do that today. Faelyn is calling for me," She had been staying on his island for quite some time now. Faelyn had been worrying.

"I see. Are you going to bring them out as well?" Keith pointed at the two spirits. The two were holding onto Keith's legs.

"Come with me," Alfia's eyes darkened even more as she ordered them.

"Woof!" "Kwak!"

"What do you mean you want to stay?!" Alfia grabbed her head, "The two of you stayed here last time. Stop causing trouble."

The two spirits continued to hold onto Keith's legs. Alfia was about to lose it. Herrick spoke up, "Just let them stay. They won't cause any trouble."

"Woof," "Kwak," The two spirits looked at Herrick as the savior. They had been hanging out with Herrick a lot as well.

"..."

"We can watch over them. You don't need to worry so much, student Alfia." Diana spoke up this time.

"...Understood," Alfia settled down after she heard that. She couldn't deny the words of a great spirit. Like that, she left Keith's island with slumped shoulders.

"You need to apologize to her," Carolyn muttered.

"For what?"
