Volume 5 Chapter 61: Party
"We're finally done!" Ange cheered as she stretched her arms in the air. She turned to Keith, "Thank you so much for the help, Keith. You made it so much easier!" With Keith here, he cut down the time needed by three times!
"No problem," Keith smiled as he organized the documents. The two quickly left the library. As they walked,
"By the way, shouldn't you be at the party?"
"Party?" "You know, the party for humans."
"Oh, that," Keith shook his head, "I don't like to go to those types of places. I prefer relaxing and calm areas."
"Pff," Ange laughed.
"What's with the laugh?"
"Because you're a strange one, Keith." Ange smiled, "Usually, nobles like to attend those parties."
"Not me," Keith got it from William and Sophia. He wasn't a fan of doing things like that.
"Shouldn't you be there as well?" From how she looked, Ange seemed to be a human.
"Nope, don't want to go," Ange shrugged.
"Then senior Ange is interesting as well," Keith grinned.
"Hey! Junior, you can't make fun of your senior," Ange pouted at Keith.
"But it's fun," Keith laughed. That caused the girl to laugh as well,
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"It's so fun talking with you."
"I get that a lot," Keith's expression turned slightly stern, "But senior Ange, you shouldn't let all that work pile up. You should do it earlier."
"Come on, that's not my fault." Ange shook her head, "And how could you tell that it piled up?"
"Because there was no way there would be so much work in a day," Keith shook his head. One day for all of that? There was no way.
"..." Ange had no retort to that, "I will try to be better,"
"That's good." They talked for a bit more before they went their separate way.
…
"Ahh. I forgot that the three will not be joining us," Keith scratched his head. When he returned, the first thing he did was prepare dinner. However, there were three extra portions; he forgot about Gabriel and the two not being here today.
"You don't have to worry about that. Arlo and I can finish it all, right?!" Herrick turned to him.
"Yeah!" Arlo nodded
"Eh? When did the two of you become close?" Keith asked, noticing the change between them.
"Nothing, we just became friends." Herrick commented, "And Arlo if you want to become stronger, you need to build your body more. To do that, you need to consume more."
"Eh?"
"You're pretty small compared to dwarves. Melor is like a head taller than you. One of the reasons is that you eat less. You need to make that up." Melor's intake was about the same as his. Arlo needed to eat more.
"Understood!" Arlo nodded as he started to eat.
"Pff," Keith chuckled as he watched the two eat so much. However,
"Young Herrick, did you forget about me?!" Cadmus was there as well! There was no way he was going to lose out to those kids!
"And don't forget about me!" Nephele was the same as she gorged herself.
These two gluttons.
...
While that happened, Gabriel, Jack, and Sarah headed for Tristan and Carolyn's island. As the three entered, they spotted Carolyn. Sarah's eyes sparkled,
"Carolyn, your dress is so beautiful!" Carolyn wasn't wearing her casual clothing. She wore a beautiful dark purple dress. It was gorgeous, matching Carolyn's eyes.
"Thank you! And you look so beautiful as well!" Sarah was wearing a fluffy yellow dress. It reminded her of the sun.
"Heh," Sarah blushed.
"And the two of you look handsome," Gabriel and Jack were dressed in suits. They looked dashing and handsome.
"Thank you,"
"Let me show you around." Carolyn smiled as they entered the mansion. But when they saw it, it was shocking.
"Holy! There are three mansions?!" Jack rubbed his eyes as he stared at the three gigantic mansions. They were stunned.
"And the island is many times larger than ours," Gabriel muttered. The island was much larger than the one they lived on; it was jaw-dropping. There was even a fountain in the center!
"The two mansions on the side are dormitories. The mansion in the center is meant for parties and for people to meet up." Carolyn scratched her head.
"..." The three had nothing to say. They had one mansion for random things?
"To be honest, I prefer a cozy island like Keith." Carolyn smiled. There was too much space for no reason.
"Yeah! Our rooms are much better than here!" Sarah nodded. Nothing could beat that.
"Let's enter now."
