Volume 6 Chapter 59: New Sword
While Tristan and Licht were baffled by the elf king's appearance, Keith continued to sell his food. Another familiar face came his way, "Hello, Senior Sakura."
Sakura waved back and then noticed the sign on the board, "You added another item to your cart?" That was the first thing she had to say.
"Do you want to try?" "Mmhmm."
Like that, Keith started to sear some boffalo slices. As he did,
"By the way, I haven't seen you in the last few days." Sakura had been coming over here to try the food. However, there was no cart.
"I went exploring a dungeon with my friends. We found many different ingredients."
"Hmm? Do you want to explore the forest with me?" Sakura suggested.
"Hmm?!" This was a little out of the blue. Sakura explained, "I want to see my junior in action."
"Sure! That would be great training for me." I could also test out my magic.
"Okay. We'll meet in a few days in front of Dalen's workshop. That should be fine?"
"Yep!" Sakura nodded as she took her food and walked off.
"Keith, did you get yourself a blind date?" Dalen muttered. But Keith tilted his head, "How is that a date?" This is more like training than a date. Senior Sakura was the perfect person to train with if he wanted to improve.
"...Kid, did your parents not have the talk with you?" Cedric questioned. One of his brows raised as he stared at him.
"What talk?"
"..." "..." Cedric and Dalen looked at one another. They apparently wanted to say something but didn't voice it out.
...
"Bring us with you!" "Come on! I thought we were friends!"

"We are! But we're not about to be!" Keith was about to cut off their friendship. Can these two not be battle junkies for a day? The annoyance had been non-stop.
"But we want to go!!!!" The two screamed as they continued to hold his legs.
"Do you even know where I'm going?!"
"No!" "But it's going to be fun!" Whenever Keith went somewhere, it usually ended with explosions! And that was awesome.
"What if I'm going to the library?" Keith grinned. Do you think I wouldn't know? Books were their bane.
"That's not possible." "Whenever you go to the library, you would have a different expression."
"..." These guys are sharp.
"Couldn't you guys go to a dungeon on your own?" These two were adventurers now. They could go to the dungeon to let off steam whenever they want."
"But we can only go to weak dungeons!" "Yeah! The highest we can go is D, and that's it."
"..." Keith turned to Gabriel. The latter shrugged, don't look at me for help. He had been dealing with this since he was also a c rank like him. If they didn't ask Keith, they would go to him.
"Guys, Faelyn wants to bring you to a dungeon."
"Wait, what?!" Keith, why is my name coming out of your mouth?! Her expression said it all. But when that was said, Herrick and Melor turned to her. And that was the moment Keith took as he blinked out.
He had used one of his magic to get out of there. He couldn't let those two follow. With Herrick's nose, that man could track him down. Like that, he quickly dashed off to Dalen's workshop.
Sakura was already there, waiting for him.
"Sorry for the wait, Senior."
Sakura shook her head, "It's okay. Also, I need to get my katana."
Keith and Sakura entered the store.
"Rugos, is my katana finished?" Sakura asked a dwarf. Rugos nodded,
"Here, but you need to be more careful." "Understood."
"Hey," "What's the matter?" Keith turned to Skar.
"You should get a stronger sword," Skar commented. But that caused Keith to tilt his head, "But-"
"I know you have all those iron swords, but those are not enough. You can buy as many as you want, but they're bound to break with your strength. You need a weapon made from a sturdier metal."
"But I don't want to get a custom weapon yet." Keith could use all types of weapons. However, the sword had always been his go-to because it was versatile. But that didn't mean it was his primary weapon. He hadn't decided on what to choose.
"Then you should test some things out," Skar shook his head and brought something to the table, "Use this."
Eh? Keith unwrapped the package and saw it was a sword. It was different from his iron swords. It had a dark grey color.
"This was made from the sword of that sheep boss you killed. It's at least three times sturdier than iron."
"How much?" There had to be a cost.
"You brought the material here. It's yours." Skar scoffed.
"Really?" It's free? From you?
"Shut it and take it!" Skar didn't hesitate as he pushed the sword over to him!
"Thanks." Keith smiled as he walked away with Sakura.
