Volume 6.5 Chapter 50: Is There A Special?!
"Alright, it's time for you guys to return home." After having a snack and taking out a few more monsters, Keith knew it was time to send them home.
"Aww," "But."
"The others will worry." Most certainly go crazy. He knew William and Sophia would search high and low for the two if they didn't return home on time.
"Okay." The two pouted a bit before nodding.
"Also, remember to hold onto them tightly." Keith smiled as he placed Leon and Laura onto Inti and Lily. Before the two could leave, "Also, take these with you." Keith handed them two bags.
"There's some vegetables and fruits I plant. Share it with the family." Keith approached them, "But make sure to keep that bag away from them."
"Hmm?" Leon and Laura tilted their heads.
"In there are sweets." "Yay!"
"But eat them in moderation." Keith patted the two's heads.
"Okay!"
"You guys, be safe." Keith waved his hand as they teleported away.
Keith took a deep sigh. It was good to see their faces again; it had been some time since he saw them. Seeing them again made him feel content, knowing they were happy and content.
Fira tugged on his shoulder, "Keith, can we see them again?" She really wanted to see the two. Fira had played with the two since they were really little.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
"Not for some time. However, we can definitely see Leon and Laura again." No way was he going to have them appear like that again. He didn't know how dangerous it was and didn't want to find out.
"Okay!" Fira raised her hand in excitement.
"We should go home now as well." "Ho!" "Po." Like that, the group headed home.
...
"Hah," A deep sigh came out of Alfia's mouth. Sarah tilted her head, "What's the matter, Alfia?" There was always something wrong whenever she sighed so deeply.
"It's nothing, Sarah. I was just thinking about something." Alfia rested her face in her hands as she returned to being lost in thought. How did the idiot get three of them? Having three great spirits was something she couldn't get out of her mind.
Great spirit of nature, wind, and water. What was this? A sale. When you have two, you get a third? Just the thought was enough to cause headaches. She had never seen so many great spirits all together in one place.
But it doesn't seem like he had a contract with them. That was something Alfia realized. The only one Keith had a contract with was Diana. Are those two going to be his spirits? Just because he didn't contract with them now didn't mean he couldn't later.
Yet, that thought made her head hurt. Three great spirits being contracted to one person? Was he trying to cause a war?! That thought made her want to rip her hair out!
Sarah nudged Faelyn, "Should we stop her?"
"No, let her do this. The princess needs to let off some steam." Even she felt like doing something. But the embarrassment was enough to stop her.
"We're back!" Keith and Fira shouted out as they returned from their training.
"Welcome back; how was your day?"
"Great! Fira is getting the hang of using her abilities." Keith grinned.
"I feel like I could get better than before!" Fira pumped her fist.
"That's great."
"Mmhmm. I will get started on dinner." Keith stretched his hand as he started to get to work. While the two head for the kitchen,
"This is unfair."
"Hmm?" The two girls tilted their heads.
"How does he get along with Fira so easily?!" That was something that was bugging her as well! She couldn't comprehend how Keith was so close with a spirit!
"I think it's because he was contracted with her since they were kids?" Sarah thought about it. When they were little, she had met Fira once. But she thought that she was a doll.
"That's the same with me." She contracted with her spirits when she was a child as well. So what was the difference? How could he command his spirits so easily while those two went crazy?
The disparity was uncanny.
"True. It's a little surprising." Even Faelyn felt this sense of inferiority with him.
Sarah tilted her head. She didn't understand why these two felt this way, but it shouldn't be a problem...right?
"I know what we have to do!" "Alfia, whatever you're thinking, please don't do it." Whatever she had cooked up, it didn't seem good. That glint in her eyes said that much. It might even make Keith mad.
"But I need to learn how to command my spirits better!" This was something off with this. She glanced into the kitchen and saw how Fira and her spirits were so calm around him.
Her eyes twitched.
I must learn how!
