Volume 6 Chapter 79: Dragator

"Alright, Everyone! We're going to be heading down to the first floor. Remember to stay in formation and prepare for anything that comes your way!" Titus gave one final warning, ready to set off.

"Understood!"

"Keith, be careful out there." Groa smacked Keith's shoulders. His party would be on the front lines, while Keith would be slightly farther away from them.

"I should be the one saying that." Like that, they were off. As they headed down,

"Good! Bring out the light lamps!"

"What's that?" Keith looked at the lamps that were brought out. Morgan explained, "These are lamps run on magic stones. It's mostly used for dungeon expeditions."

"I see." Keith nodded. Suddenly, Shakti got close to Keith, "Keith, you should stick close to me. You can see the ground with me around."

"I can see fine without yours." With so many lamps being shined together, it made the dark area bright enough to see something 10 feet away from them!

"Tch!" "Also, you should be sticking to the front, Shakti." Keith's role in this group was the rearguard. His job was to prioritize forcing the monsters to go into one lane. Shakti, on the other hand, was the fighter in the group. Her position was more forward than his.

"It's fine. I can handle it." As she casually said this, "Shakti, head back to the front."

"Fiiine!" Shakti pouted as she went up to the front. Morgan grabbed her head, "This girl is going to be the death of me." She could see it now.

"Hehe," I feel bad for you.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

As they continued forward, they were met with a giant cave. Keith looked around. There were similarities to White Meadow. However, the area was much larger. While everyone looked around, Titus frowned,

"Prepare for battle!"

When that was said, everyone quickly raised their weapons. The calm expression everyone had changed into one of readiness. Keith did the same. The moment they prepared themselves, the opponents came forward.

They're big. Even when they couldn't see them, their stomping made it clear these guys were big. And Keith was right. What came out from the shadow were giant alligators. They stood more than three meters wide. Their fangs were etched out as they stared at the group with amber eyes.

"What are those?" "Dragators."

"Watch out for their mouths, and don't let them swing their tails!" Titus commanded, "Mages, use water magic to weaken them! Wings, take care of two each! Center shall hold back the five!"

And like that, the battle started.

"Shakti, I leave it to you to hold them back!" Morgan commanded as she started to chant.

"Don't need to tell me that!" Without any hesitation, Shakti dashed at one of the dragators. A head-on assault. That was the only thing to describe it. The dragator responded with something Keith had not expected.

"Rawr!" Fire came out of its mouth, torching the area! Keith's eyes widened. Is Shakti okay?! She took the brunt of that. Her body was still in that fire!

"Was that it?!" Coming out of the fire, Shakti swung her axe down, slamming into the dragator's nose! It went through it like butter as she swung her axe upwards.

"Rawr!" The dragator raised its arm, trying to swipe down at her. But the swipe never landed as it missed her entire body. Shakti's blow, on the other hand, cut the head off!

While Shakti took care of one of them, the others dealt with the other one.

"Morgan! Do it now!" "Come! Aqua Geyser!" Below the dragator, a pillar of water burst forth, blowing a hole through its stomach! Both were taken out in a swift matter.

"Support the main line!" Morgan didn't ignore the main issue. Their group had to face off against two while the center faced off against five. They needed to support the front lines.

"On it!" Shakti and the rest of the girls quickly made their move. The center had dealt with two. With the added force of the wings, it made the battle much smoother.

Everyone took a breather after they dealt with all the dragator. The only one who wasn't was Titus. Nine dragator just from the start.

"So, what do you think the dungeon level is?" Galven walked up to him.
