Volume 5 Chapter 35: Why Are We Fighting Again?

Carolyn wanted to yell at Gabriel for running away like that. He was too quick on the up-take! Gabriel looked at the girl. The usual faint smile was directed to him.

Sorry, Carolyn. I don't want to deal with this. There was no need to guess what was going to happen next.

"Carolyn, who do you think is more airheaded?!" Keith asked her this question. Carolyn's eyes twitched. Do I have to answer this? That was a yes. Alfia's eyes were bright as well, signaling for an answer.

"Don't throw this on me. Shouldn't you ask-" Carolyn looked around, "Shouldn't you ask Faelyn?"

"Eh?" The sudden shift in attention caught Faelyn off guard!

"I-" "Faelyn, who is it?"

"Princess!" Faelyn wanted to cry at this moment. Why was she thrown the hot potato?! She wanted to tell them they were both acting like children. However, she couldn't say that! Not with the look Alfia gave her!

"We have to get a bystander!" Keith retorted. There was no way Faelyn and Carolyn would give fair judgments!

"Mmhmm!" "Are the two-"

"Ophelia! Who do you think is the most airheaded of the two of us?!" And here came the bystander!

"Eh?" Ophelia tilted her head, confused. What was she brought into?

"Please!" The two stared at her.

"Ah, I guess Keith is the more airheaded one?" From actions alone, she could tell Keith was an airhead. Alfia, not so much.

"..." Keith slammed his head into the table while Alfia looked victorious.

"Thank you so much. I knew you had a good eye!"

"Thanks?" Ophelia didn't know what to say as she returned to her seat, more confused.

"See." Alfia gave a smug look to Keith.

"...Ugh." However, Keith chuckled, "Why were we fighting about this?"

Alfia blinked, "Now that you mentioned it," Why were we fighting in the first place?

Now you two realize! Three people face-palmed at these two airheads.

...

"Ugh," Carolyn dropped to the table again. Keith tilted his head, "How are you feeling?"

"Dead, so very dead."

"How? Professor Aidiun was teaching us?" Aidiun helped them out during his free time on the island.

"Because I blanked out."

"Do you want my notes, Carolyn?" Overhearing their conversation, Alfia suggested.

"Thank you so much, Alfia!" Carolyn smiled at the elven princess.

"You understand the lecture?"

"I get enough," Alfia smiled.

"Want to compare notes?" Keith suggested.

"Sure," What was brought out was a page full of notes to a couple.

"..." It was a few seconds of silence before Alfia spoke.

"I'm sorry I ever said anything." Alfia looked down, but Carolyn quickly consoled her, "Alfia, you're doing great! It's just that this guy is a monster!"

"Yes, Princess! He's an irregular!" Faelyn added.

"..." You guys understand I'm right in front of you, right? Keith sighed, "You guys can copy my notes."

Stab!

"Alfia, don't die on us!" "Princess!"

"Keith, that was the last push," Gabriel shook his head.

"How?!"

...

"Let's head to lunch!" After doing all of this, Keith was hungry.

"I'm so confused. How could this guy space out and do all of this?" While Keith grinned, Alfia was having a mid-life crisis. She was in shock.

"He's inhuman." Carolyn asserted.

"..." I am still right here?! Keith shook his head as he headed to the lunchroom with the rest.

"Herrick, here is your lunch," Keith handed a lunchbox to Herrick,

"Mmhmm," Herrick quickly took it and left the group. But that caused Alfia to frown, "Did you do something to him? Why is he acting like this?"

"He's going through a phase," Keith sighed as he sat down. Like that, everyone started to eat. But as they were doing that,

"Alfia, can you help me with my magic?" Carolyn asked.

"Hmm?" "I've been having trouble with my wind magic,"

"You can use wind magic as well."

"Mmhmm, only a few." It was nothing compared to her.

"Sure! I can help out." Alfia's expression brightened.

"Can you give me some tips as well?" Gabriel was a wind magic user as well.

"Ay, we have teacher Alfia," Keith joked.

"I'm not helping you." Alfia scoffed.

"Don't need it."

"....Why is his face so smackable?" There was an unbearable itch coming from Alfia's hand. Carolyn shook her head, "I know the feeling."

"How could someone who looks gentle turn to something like this?" Alfia thought Keith was the gentle type. However, she was so wrong!

"He's both. He's kind and blackhearted."

"Blackhearted, my butt!" Keith shoved some food into Carolyn's mouth. That was enough to cause everyone to laugh. But the group didn't notice they were being stared at as they talked.
